oline isv tremendous ave two great backs good TE and good wr's and an adequate defense. They have the 6th rated offense and the 20th rated defense. They are overwhelming teams with offense. Just enough passing but a great oline and they are crushing teams with the balanced oiffense but primarily because the oline. Averaging 228 yd passing 156 yds a game rushing. scoring 33 points a game. defense they are averaging 101 yds a game rushing giving up 247 yds a game passing only allowing 19.0 poits a game by offenses. That shows how important that oline is because the Qb in my opinion is a little above average but the oline lets him run the vthe ball and drop back and throw the ball. We still need to get a little better on defense but our biggest improvement and it's not bad is our oline. RB62, I think the DET Oline model is the type MO is trying to build for KM...if the team's intent is to retain KM longterm...or even if the team moves on to a veteran in a year or two. The model still works best in today's offenses. KM's game is changing. He's getting older and maturing. Maybe his best years are ahead with the Cardinals. MO will know that answer long before we do. EZ I think our Oline needs to be considered in the context of Kyler’s size as well as unique speed, escapability and scrambling, whereas Goff’s needs to be set up for a pure pocket passer. We need a center who can see the defense and switch out from shotgun or under center, guards who can keep the pressure out of Kyler’s face and tackles who can protect but also be flexible and athletic enough to continue in the play when the pocket breaks down. Even more so, I think our Oline success in stats is massively affected by 1) Kyler’s scrambling, 2) blocking TE Reiman and 3) help from Conner in his ability to run so he has to be respected as a 3 down threat but also can block. |

Another Miami or Charger performance against da bears might change a couple more...maybe.
