Looking back didn't like what was left at Qb would have gotten probably a lineman or take Harrison. The problem is the year before and not addressing a suitable backup plan. Heck since we blew the friggen number 1 pick or number 2 for feel good wins heck with the moral vitories it is getting us nowhere. I was very afraid that Kyler would be what we thought he was. He has until the end of the season so should the coaching staff after leaving us in this position and Monti but I will be ok if we stick with Monti but the others sorry you are paid for good decisions and the Qb is paid to produce. I hope for the best but I am not falling for this crud anymore. I would have been ok with a game manager for Qb but we have tune. Ok, in 2023 we had the 3rd pick and did a series of trades that set us up well for 2024 and we took Paris, who looks like a great LT. Stroud and Young were taken #1 and #2. Who would you have taken to address a suitable backup plan? Or who in free agency. The pickins’ were slim. I’m only asking because we have to deal with reality of what’s available in a very weak NFL QB market. We are not in a stretch of Manning, young Rodgers, Brady and Bree’s right now. That is why I always ask which QB’s would folks want if not Kyler. How did the 2024 draft make the team better ?

I do like the draft but time will tell but the key is someone to lead and drive the team. I realize that once we blew our chance at the number 1 or 2 pick over meaningless moral victories that was what we should have done but they did it two years in a row and offered no backplan to KM, tune was their answer that is neglegence lol.

We all knew prior to the Draft 2024 that MB and MO were committed to Murray and focusing on fixing the other parts of the team roster. Those fixes were not automatic, except for Harrison, who is coming along now.
I read an article on Monday that noted how NFL passing yards per game and points scored per game are trending down for the past 4-5 years. Defensive coordinators are adjusting to the NFL's offensive-friendly rules. DCs are forcing 'running qbs' to either stay in the pocket and hit high % WR routes, or become RBs and take a beating physically.
The ideal next Cardinals starting QB will thrive if he can see, pass, run, and absorb hits. Who is that guy?
