Dry Heat and knobby like this

I don't know about you, but watching this game my overall consensus was "MEH". A real nothing burger in terms of entertaining me and taking my time away.
I like the Fox crew of Chris Meyers and Mark Schlereth. I feel Mark knows the Cardinals better than most announcers and was actually referencing previous games.
Do the Lions really seem like a team that can win a Super Bowl? I just don't get that vibe from them. They look like a team that is still finding their way.
I thought Kyler Murray said his job was "not to get the ball to Marvin Harrison jr.". Well it sure looked at times that it was indeed. The hell with the coverage, I'm going to squeeze the ball in-between 2-3 defenders and get him a catch.
By the same token I'd like to see MHJ make some of those contested catches. Larry did.
Did anyone see the defense outplaying the offense in this game? It sure did, real nice effort.
We have no real superstars on defense, that's a tribute to our coaching staff.
Jackson Barton, our THIRD STRING RT, acquitted himself quite well. Shocking actually. Our OLINE is a well oiled machine. I never thought I'd say that. Remember the years of Russ Grimm. LOL.
It's the third quarter. We're still in this game. We give the ball to Trey Benson three consecutive times. Kyler gets stopped on the 4th down. We needed James Conner in that situation (probably resting, which is deserved) or anyone else but this kid. Sorry, I'm not impressed. Running backs usually come charging out of the gate and then flop when they get the big contract.
The kickoffs are nothing but a waste of time. What a joke they've become. The new rules have not fixed anything.
I did warn fans about getting too pumped up about the way we beat the Rams, but that's life in the NFL. Fans get JACKED over wins and want to jump off CLIFFS over losses. LOL.
Who ever saw the Rams beating the Niners and the Seahawks 3-0. Why are the Seahawks always good? LOL.
Remember the days of KK, the skinny jeans and the constant offsides and penalties. Beta men cannot be head coach's in the NFL. I love our current coaching staff.
We are 1-2. Against 3 teams that made the playoffs last year. I can't be too unhappy about that. It seems about right. I like the progress. Next week we get Washington. It's probably the first game we should actually win. Let's see how that plays out. After all "IT'S THE NFL".
