The TEAM Has to hav an AL OUT Maxxed Effort vs the Commanders this coming Sunday. Or another L will be added to the list. No sleeping on this Washington team. They may become the NFC East Champs if they continue to play like the last 2 weeks. Dallas Beware Washington is gonna chew u Up!

The Bengals are typically off to a slow start for the season, but the Commanders were playing pretty tough at home. Here's one thing to consider though as far as Cards vs Commodes: Pretty dang sure Jonathon Gannon will in no way put up with his team losing to the coach he replaced. Arizona Cardinals work out 4 defensive lineman -- does this mean Justin Jones tricep injury will put him on IR or even worse (i.e. Hargrave of 49ers is out for season with a tricep injury) ? I have been extremely disappointed in the two (2) FA defensive lineman (Jones/Nichols) signed as their PFF scores are horrible. Cardinals work out FOUR Defensive Lineman
Of course if the Cards can win Sunday and keep playoff hopes alive, then there is another development to watch especially considering how long RT Jonah Williams might be out -- DJ Humphries is very close to being cleared medically to play football. I would think the Cards and Monti would be interested in signing Hump if by Week#7, the Cardinals are 4-3 or at least 3-4 but a loss Sunday would really hurt these chances. In fact a loss vs. the Commanders might have Monti/Cards going in the opposite direction and looking to trade Budda Baker as the calendar gets closer to mid-October. Austin Ekeler and McLaurin are the only real threats outside of Daniel's running the football. Robinson is okay, but he will be carrying a full load now that Ekeler won't be playing this weekend. So unless folks think Ertz is going to beat us, with Ekeler out, if you double McLaurin, shutting down Washington should be easy, IF we can put points on the board early and make Washington one dimensional.
The risk for us is getting a slow start and the game being close. That would allow Daniels to beat us with his feet. And Ertz is still competent enough that if this game is 1 TD or less, that Daniels could scramble his way to victory and hit Ertz on short scramble throws.
We have more talent on offense than Washington but they clearly have more talent on defensive front. (If McBride is out this weekend I'd say offensive talent might be equal minus fact you've got to give us the edge at QB since Kyler has a heck of a lot more experience than Daniels)
I 100% believe this game is on Kyler and whether or not HE avoids turnovers. I also think Connor will play a huge role. I expect Daniels to be amped up early since he will be returning to his home. So while I expect him to put in 110%, I do think he could turn it over early if he's too amped up. For that reason, I think the winner of this game is going to be determined before halftime. If we have a 14 pts lead I think we win. If we are only up by 7 pts or less I think we lose. Anything in between 8 and 14, I really couldn't say.
