Good...the defense hung in the second half and gave the offense a chance as well as a INT. Zero points given up in 2nd half. If they were actually dominated as some have expressed they would have surrendered a forty burger today. Rams beat Niners
Bad...officiating and WR drops. Slow start for the defense.
Ugly...officiating and K1 INT...under thrown on the greedy pass...Wilson was open for a 20+ yard gain.
Wilson had the best day for the WRs...MHJ will be great and today he looked like a rookie...he needs to be more aggressive and perform like he does in practice.
FB does get ugly and this was a winnable game...young team woes. Hats off to McBride...that was a big hit he took. Thanks to Barton and his play.
Cards were not effing killers today.

MHJ looks like a future star, and leads the league with 3 TDs. But he and Kyler still seem a bit off on timing on some routes, and his drops are a bit concerning.
He’s the second best rookie WR so far. Nabers also has 3 TDs, but has 73 more yards (271 vs 198), 13 more receptions (23 vs 10), and 6 20+ yard receptions to 3.

From my memory...most WRs can go through a dropsy time. It is a combo of defenders may be frustrating him a bit more in the NFL...they do not want to lose to him on routes and they get paid as well as now he has pressure to succeed as a pro and all the built up expectation. He will get it straight...before the Lion game some of his route running had errors, all part of being a rookie.

I hope he can match His father's longevity and reliability. If he does (and the NFL does not implode from Bad league management) he can make Card fans happy with his playmaking.

I too was in the NoNo to MHJ camp I wanted Nabers or Odunze and said so. Nabers was drafted #6 and Odunze #9 - It's not known if a Trade Down was offered to the Cardinals, which would have resulted in still being able to choose one of these. I know what you are saying, but once the draft is finished then we have to move on.

I too was in the NoNo to MHJ camp I wanted Nabers or Odunze and said so. Me too. SO FAR, MJH seems reluctant to fight for a ball if contested, like with Murray's latest Hail Mary toss. Is he too nice a guy to assert himself in tight situations? I know, it's early in his first season... but still, shouldn't we see some attitude? IMHO

My biggest concern was that KM had to run a lot in order to move the ball right from the start of the game. I don't even think he can finish a season when hes doing that sparingly... playing like that, hes only with us for something like 7 games.

I would like to see MJH highpoint a football and yank it out of the air. He had a ball fall between his alligator arms and chest which could've changed the game. Some brethren say the ball was knocked out of his grasp. The pass was there and it was a dime. Leap Marv and take that ball away! I need to see an assertive Harrison Jr.

MHJ will perform better it takes time to transition and get in sync with the talent level. Cards have faced three good defenses. Teams winning over trash teams or other rookie WRs who haven't been against better defenses will level out. MHJ will be just fine. Unfortunately Odunze on a serious note has injury issues.

We got screwed out of a touchdown. That changed everything.

Im on the record as not a Caleb fan and definitely a Rome fan. He can’t help it his QB hasn’t been getting him the ball or playing well overall, sacked as often as he gets a pass off, but watch Rome on Sunday and tell me he’s mehhhh. C’mon, man! It is a bummer he had an MCL sprain in Game 1, and that injury affected Game 2, but Game 3 Rome Odunze is the stud he is and will be. MHJ, Nabers and Odunze all look like the real deal three games in.

We got screwed out of a touchdown. That changed everything. That was part of it. Another part was we seemed to be going for big plays, instead of getting first downs. I hate it when KM starts trying to force things. If you can get 4 yards every time you touch the ball, you will win ballgames - trying to get 20 yards when you need 5 is great, when you're ahead. Sometimes you just have to exploit what a defense gives you. We missed a lot of opportunities trying to go big, instead of just moving the chains. Hopefully we have learned from this game.
