www.nfl.com/news/nfl-qb-index-week-3-c-j-stroud-vaults-josh-allen-kyler-murray-soarsBased on the first (2) games…I really can’t argue with KM being listed in the top 10 based on his play…however…I really only see Mahomes, Allen, and perhaps Carr’s and Stroud’s play after (2) weeks possibly being ranked higher then him…putting him at #5 in my book at the very least. Can’t put Lamar at 0-2 right now ahead of him…or Prescott (1-1)…and I’m not buying Baker over KM’s play from what I’ve seen on film. Keep mixing in a balanced run/pass ratio with under center and shot gun formations…and I think he could very well solidify a top (5) position after week (3).

For what it’s worth, nearly every fantasy site has him as #2 or #3 QB this week vs the Lions. The fantasy world sees passing and rushing yards and TD’s coming in bunches Sunday.

Cards OL has to keep Hutchinson in check. Cardinals are facing a much better Detroit D Line in terms of talent on Sunday. Should be a fun and telling matchup for both teams.

Lions DC Aaron Glenn does NOT like to play zone .. almost strictly a man-to-man secondary. This is why Justin Fields had over 100 yds rushing in 3 games vs. Lions as the Lions have been susceptible to mobile QB's. When CB's turn their backs to LOS in playing man-to-man, wide areas of running room for the QB will develop so in this crucial game I hope KM1 gets a lot of key 1st downs with some scramble runs. Since the Lions secondary will throw a lot of man-to-man coverage, I hope KM1-MHJ have been working on their back shoulder throw timing and 50/50 ball deep shots.
The Lions injury report already has one CB and a safety out for this game and Terrion Arnold is questionable so KM1 could "cook" the Lions both running and passing. On the JV podcast they noted Beachum in his "LIMITED" practice was not wearing a wrap on either hamstring so I look for him to play. Also it would be huge for the Cards if LB Anzalone does not pass concussion protocol today and he is out would allow McBride have a big day.
BTW: I listened to an interview with Michael Wilson the other day and apparently he and MHJ catch 200 footballs PER DAY from the "jugs-gun" and this is in addition to the balls thrown to them during practice/warm-up time.
