We don’t have to win this lions game. It would be awesome to win this game. But, a loss if well played still shows we are on the high road. We need to be physical and focused. Play smart and aggressive, let chips fall where they will. This is game of week IMO.

As long as our offensive DVOA remains high...then I'm cool. I think it's a winnable game, especially vs their slot corners.

Cardinals will have Meyers and Schlereth in the booth; both whom I like.

this I hope the team don’t have that mentality that they don’t have to win and the cards shouldn’t want to just donate and hand games over because it’s only year 2 under JG and Co. we gave away games last year. Its bogus to say we don’t have to win

(TKs Knobby) unfortunately the Cardinals have almost zero chance of being the national game. You have to follow the money and the ratings and the networks will always choose the route that provides the best revenue and that is to show the cowboys or the Packers.

I have a great friend in Az that grew up in Wisconsin and will never stop being a Packer fan, but loves the Cards every bit as much. It's amazing how often he gets to watch the Packers play on regular old TV.

I have a great friend in Az that grew up in Wisconsin and will never stop being a Packer fan, but loves the Cards every bit as much. It's amazing how often he gets to watch the Packers play on regular old TV. In Western IL. Cornfields the nearest TV station is a PBS station South. 60+ miles SW is the Quincy/Hanibal TV off airs. North 65 to 70+ miles is the Quad Cities TV OFF Air Market. To the NE is Peoria Market ~ 75-90 miles but I can only get 1 or 2 of their stations at Night IF I turn the antenna NE. To turn my antenna I have to get on the roof and manually turn the antenna. To the SW of the house I have 75 foot tall sycamore tree & High Lines for Electricity. I have to shoot for a narrow gap. North, I have to shoot for the gap in the neighbor's trees. The NE is the clearest line of sight BUT Peoria is too far for daytime viewing since all TV channels around me are ALL now in the UHF band. Very Rare anymore to find an Off-air Tower still broadcasting in VHF freqs. I had an 18 foot long UNF/VHF antenna with an amplifier in the basement yhay has 4 outputs, BUT Last year on June 29th a Derecho came thru and broke the VHF section off. I jury rigged the remaining UHF section to work properly ( I used to build SMAT systems in High Rises up in the QUad cites before I got hired on with the Local Cable Co. Worked there for 20 years, last 8 as a Network Maint tech 4 for Comcast. Finding an actual Good off air anntenna is not easy anu=y more, The stuff they sell on Amazon is trash! So now retired for 12 years I'm on a fixed income and DirecTv is out of my budget as of 4 years ago. Hmmm thats when this current zombie & cackling hen came into office, so yeah I make do with what I can until things straighten back up.

Sure, no morale victory is going to satisfy Cards fans including this forum. This is a winnable game. Ralis' defense is facing another statuesque QB in Goff. No reason the Cards D-line can't make Goff at least uncomfortable. Lions have been absolutely awful in the Red Zone thru 2 games. I know, it's early.
My biggest concern is that the Lions RB duo of Gibbs and Montgomery gash the Cards with that Detroit OL which is solid. Cardinals stopped Kyren Williams BUT the Rams entire O-Line was a MASH unit. Definitley a tough test for Ralis and company.

Definitley a tough test for Ralis and company. That ridiculously quick 14 point lead with our two TD’s to MHJ, along with complete control of time of possession in the first quarter/half, took the Ram’s run game away as an option. We need to get a quick sizable lead early on the Lions as well, and make them one dimensional.

Fancy a flutter in the Game Score Prediction thread DH (we are missing your insightful punditry, following on from your joint first place in Round 1)? Do you foresee victory over the Lions and by what type of margin? It is likely to be a tough battle out there on Sunday.
