First and foremost…you play the team that’s in front of you on any given Sunday. And that means the roster that your opposing team fields. This week…the focus is ONLY on Detroit. But who would have thought in the preseason that we would have played a Ram’s team in week (2) that the injury bug hit? And now we know that Tua’s first game back…if at all…is not until the Dolphins play the Cardinals in week (8). The 49ers will be without both McCaffrey and Debo for the next couple of games…and a team that looked like a lock to roll this year suddenly has big shoes to fill and question marks to answer. Such is life in the NFL. I like the Cardinals balanced approach…both with the run and pass plays called…and the under center and shot gun formations called. I think besides making us less predictable…it takes pressure off a multitude of players by being deceptive…and although no formation or play call can prevent an injury…the more deceptive and less predictable you are…the more the defense plays on their heels and you play on your toes. And that’s always an advantage in a violent game such as football. 🏈 Go Cards…and take advantage of the team…and it’s flaws/weaknesses and injuries that lines up against you WHEN YOU PLAY THEM…cause preseason predictions on the basis of what a schedule looks like…means NOTHING until the teams line up with the players they have available on any given Sunday! 👍

Take advantage!

More than take advantage...crush the teams if given the opportunity. Sharks get more aggressive with blood in the water. Use others' weaknesses as fuel.

This is why you need really good depth, not sleepers like we had when Palmer and Stanton went down. We were what 13-3 but doomed to lose when all that happened. Now were are looking at longer seasons and more playoff teams thus more games Clayton Tune to the rescue if Kyler goes down, That is a tall order for someone with few stats to back up his play. Ridder is not the answer either.
