I think the cardinals can beat them. I think the recipe for victory is KM running the ball and passing game don't think Connor is the answer this week hope I am wrong. Lions 31 Cards 34

Almost forgot to make my prediction!! It appears to me that this should be an easy victory for the Cardinals, since they have the better defense and a much better quarterback and offense than the Lions. If you go by comparative scores -- Detroit 26, Rams 20 in OT, and Cardinals 41, Rams 10, then it looks like the Cardinals are a good 25 points, or about four touchdowns, better than the kitty-cats. However. . . I think the Cardinals are due for a good hosing by the NFL referees, so I think even though Arizona will dominate on both sides of the line, they will be done in not by the Lions, but by the Zebras. So instead of winning by 25 points, I anticipate the Cardinals losing by a few. So. . . . Detroit 20, Arizona 16. . . . And even worse, I suspect that Arizona is due for a season ending injury of an important cog in their well oiled machine. . . .

Lions 30 Cardinals 24
Why? Cause I’d rather lose a prediction and be happy as hell that I did…but if I’m pissed off with a Cardinal loss…I’d like to think that at least I didn’t bet with my heart like I usually do. 😳

So I never made a prediction

The Official result is given, below - GOLD MEDAL - Fightingfalcon (a total of only 3 points off the actual game score) SILVER MEDAL - respectthe process (the only other member to predict a Lions win). BRONZE MEDAL - Unclaimed this week For two weeks running Fightingfalcon has judged the mood correctly and taken the top prize. This time very close, a boot away (FG), from being bang on the button. Some concerns with the officiating were also predicted - However. . . I think the Cardinals are due for a good hosing by the NFL referees So. . . . Detroit 20, Arizona 16. . . . He appears to have great insight to see what's on the horizon, unless he can give a more practical explanation (such as employing the services of a physic, or the use of a blend of magic tea leaves in his morning cuppa). - Can he make it a hat-trick and scoop the Gold next time? Thanks to all who participated.

Thanks to all who participated. I probably wouldn't have noticed this except I was a nationally recognized expert on medical quackery about 40 years ago. . . . . I'm pretty sure you meant to suggest that I had employed the services of a "Psychic", and not a "Physic". A "Physic" is an old fashioned term for a laxative, and was something that was hawked in the old medicine man shows!! And no, I didn't make use of either a psychic or a physic. . . or even magical tea leaves!
