WF does a recap of every game and here is what they wrote after discussing the Rams vs. Cards game yesterday:
"Arizona looked like a legit playoff contender in this game. San Francisco is 1-1, the Rams are 0-2, and the Seahawks are 2-0, but those wins came against rebuilding teams in the Broncos and Patriots. With this offense, the Cardinals are a legit contender in the NFC West. Los Angeles is 0-2 with a plethora of injuries. They need to rally immediately before they dig themselves into a hole that is too big to climb out of."

#13!? That seems optimistic even for me. I will take it. The offense has great weapons and is certainly a playoff team if K1 continues to play at this high level. If we can build off this defense performance, a deep playoff run- ?

If they can maintain the same attitude they played with yesterday.....the same energy, etc. AND the injury bug can be avoided? On we go!

Keep the faith…nice to see the enthusiasm from you CC.
I was thinking I was one of the last ones holding to at least a 11 win regular season. After the Bills game most jumped ship on hopes of being playoff quality.
It was one game…however the obvious became apparent. MHJ makes a team who can run the ball a nightmare.
Wilson, McBride and Dortch are good players and JR is elite.
This doesn’t take away from the others…just takes attention away and that helps them.
Bills were smart to bracket or cloud MHJ…that may not work going forward.
Confidence is advantageous and lack of it limits or those lacking in confidence limit what they are capable of.

I agree with DH that if JG had just played KM1 and MHJ/Wilson/Dorth in the pre-season the Cards would have won in Buffalo as the timing was off but was cleared up vs. the Rams. Of course Cards could have also won if Wilson catches the ball on last drive or the Refs call DPI once in a while. There is another player moving on up .... if KM1 can continue mastering this offense and being under center more, he looks to be ready to pass over many other QB;s in the rankings including Rodgers/Cousins/Lawrence/Tua/Hurts/Goff/Richardson/Dak and maybe Love/Herbert. Dak PFF score after 2 games is 54 and KM1 = 93.

Is K1 on pace to be a top 5 QB?

You don’t move on from a 1st round draft pick in two sports, #1 pick NFL, ROTY, 2 time Pro Bowler at 24 yrs old just because he had a bad 1/2 season and then an ACL/MCL. I felt last year once he returned from rehab he was top 15, and there were maybe 10 QB’s I’d rather have (some due to age like Stafford and Rodgers). I think with the weapons we’ve now added on offense and in his second year in this offense, he is top 10 and has a shot at top 5.

Bills were smart to bracket or cloud MHJ…that may not work going forward. Confidence is advantageous and lack of it limits or those lacking in confidence limit what they are capable of. Here is what I think our wins and losses will be this season...I am splitting wins with the Rams, 49ers and Seahawks. I originally predicted we would win 9 games and I am sticking with that number...here is why... Wins against Commanders My only concern about this game is that Kingsbury knows Kyler's weaknesses...the other thing is Jayden Daniels is not a C.J. Stroud yet...I think we can win this game. 49ers I am going to say we split Wins/Losses. In our first game against the 49ers, I don't think that McCaffery will be back off of IR...and Deebo just got hurt...if he misses our first match against each other...then that first matchup should be winnable for us... Packers If Jordan Love is back...this could be a loss instead of a win... Dolphins After what the Bills did to the Dolphins, I think we have a chance to win this game. Also, since they did not put Tua on injured reserved...I am figuring that he will be their QB against us... Bears Caleb is just not doing that great. Odunze has not done much in his first to games. Also, he has a knee injury right now...not sure how serious it is... Jets Rodgers so far is not doing great and may not be able to help them become a Playoff Contender as I thought they might be.... Patriots This is one of the other games I think we could possibly lose...seems the Patriots are doing much better than expected... Panthers I don't think that Andy Dalton will make enough of a difference to be able to beat us. Seahawks 9 wins plus the Rams win... Season total Wins 10 However, of the wins I posted above...we will probably lose one of those. Loss against Rams Split Seahawks Split 49ers Split Lions The Lions are going to be tuff...however...they almost lost to the Rams...and what did we do to the Rams? Puka did play part of the Lions game...so...had he stayed in the game or played against us...we might have seen a different outcome in the Lions game and our game against them... Chargers I just think the Chargers are doing good....this is the game that even though some might think we can beat them...we end up with a loss... Vikings I don't see us beating the Vikings...period...the only way we beat them in my opinion is if Marvin out performs Jefferson... 6 Losses plus one loss to the Bills... Total losses 7. However, I think that we could lose to one of the teams that I project a win from in Packers or Patriots. That would put us at 8 losses and 9 wins...if we get swept by either the 49ers or Seattle...then we win only 8 games and have 9 losses...

Is K1 on pace to be a top 5 QB? This stat is from the33rdteam.com -" Murray had one of the most productive days we’ve seen from a quarterback. He completed more than 80 percent of his passes while he had an average depth of target of 10.2 yards. There have been 19 quarterbacks to pull off that feat since 2000, and Murray had the fourth-highest EPA per play of the group."

Yep and you were right I hope it continues definitely a different work attitude and this can produce the leader we need.
