No Aaron Donald to put the "fear of God" into K1 this game. He better play Sound ball Speaking of fear of God, THIS is pretty funny.

Did Jonah get the same Lee injured that was injured in 2023?

I saw this. Devastating, considering our depth at tackle.

The saving grace and the horror beyond his drafting was the FA misses by SK. Monti gets an F for the 2024 FA signings...injury and bad performance. 2023 is looking in the D range when White was injured in 2023 and laying an egg on the field in 2024. The other MLB FA signing in 2023 is no longer on team and outside ST play the 2023 WR FA is bad and cost the Cards in his play against Washington.
Evan Brown looks like a good value and not much money. The roster needed help and the Monti FA signings are not helping. There is time to improve, but the bar is very low currently.

While Madden isn't always accurate, it does pull real time data these days. The Cards OL is remarkably decent in this year's version, especially if you start without injuries. I signed Hump for depth, but the ideal lineup, from what I found, was: LT - Paris LG - Jonah C - Froholdt RG - Hernandez RT - Hump Isiah as #1 Swingman for 'everything' but LT. Evan as #2 swing (inside). He can't swing to RT like Isiah can. Christian as #3 swing at both guard spots and RT. The point of this is Jonah is far better at LG than RT, so we should have looked at signing Hump, let Jonah take his time and when he does come back let him play LG. Keep Isiah, Evan and Christian as primary backups. If Jonah came back healthy and we could use injury as reason to move in him inside, bringing Hump back would give us a top-7 OL reasonably cheap. Should Paris get hurt, swap Hump to LT then push Jonah back to RT. That's how I'd set up next year's line if we don't draft anyone for OL

Great point bringing up Hump...he is available off injury or close...he would be worth throwing CAP money at and seeing what he can do.

Great point bringing up Hump...he is available off injury or close...he would be worth throwing CAP money at and seeing what he can do. Let me clarify. Jonah's rating is the same at LG vs. RT, a 74 rating. You just get more value moving him to LG and putting Humph at RT. I just simulated 1st season and the OL was the strength of the team. The DL was awful but it's the only true weakness in the new Madden, besides Tune as the backup QB. Isiah develops better than Evan though, and really is a diamond according to Madden. So much so Gaines is pretty much obsolete. Signing Hump just makes so much sense, assuming he's actually healthy, because he would give us so much flexibility, and give Jonah time to heal. I'm not sure Jonah wants to move back inside, but for some reason of another, I thought he played inside at Alabama before he got moved to tackle, so it's something I think we should consider given LG is our weakest link when everyone is healthy. Beachum was still useful this year as the true #3 LT, or #2 RT if Hump has to be shifted to replace Paris.

Hump cannot be in game condition after all this time away recuperating, can he? How many weeks/months until he would actually be productive? I can't believe he could be counted on for much, initially.

That's how I'd set up next year's line if we don't draft anyone for OL I hope Humphries is able to get truly healthy and back in shape for a longer NFL career, and if so that he wants to continue it here, but he is no longer our LT and would have to be able to make the switch. I’d rather get a young RT stud early in the 2025 draft.

Even if it took a week or 3 to get game ready...he knows the scheme.

I’d rather get a young RT stud early in the 2025 draft. Ah, the Holy Grail. The promise (RT) that never seems to deliver. - Plan A would appear to be Jonah Williams to fill the void and develop Christian Jones (our Round 5 pick from 2024). Williams going out injured so quick most have really hurt the FO's calculations.
