The contract CAP hit sinks just $4,000,000 if he's jettisoned prior to the roster bonus payout. The contract does not turn 'Cardinals' friendly for a couple more years, maybe before 2026 season. By 2026, the NFL could have it's first BILLION DOLLAR QB. Thanks to 10-20% inflation stuff----and mega billionaire Jerry Jones.

Replacing K1 with a better QB isn't as easy as many think...fans should get used to K1 in AZ at this point. If the wins don't come I could see the team moving on from him. Until that point I will support the little guy. |

Niner's the cheaters that they are with Purdy should have extended him already. The longer they delay this the higher the cost. I could see the good young man signing a team-friendly deal.
Niner's are banking on Kyle could put his health at risk. Kyle has ended many a QBs careers since being the HC. He is running Christian into the ground as well/ Kyle will go to the well on the hot player to his credit, but too many touches have risk as well.
Purdy should have been extended after year two...his rookie cap hit would have stayed the same and the cap hit jump would have still been down the road. The Niners have the best young QB and have not extended him...this is a risk to Purdy and his compensation in case of an unforeseen injury...he has earned the extension...the cheaters should pay him.
