Starling Thomas over Melton was a surprise or maybe nursing an injury still.

Starling Thomas over Melton was a surprise or maybe nursing an injury still. I think he looked great in preseason. Likely multifactorial like you outlined though

I have issues with the social media plugin loading, so if this was already reported, TE Tip and WR Weaver are injured. I think Tip will be fine, Weaver oblique injury. Dont know status.

It is time to have Baker blitz if we're not getting a pass rush otherwise.

Peter Schrager of GMF on the NFL Network has the Bills as a 5th seed for the playoffs. Do they lose the 1st game of the season?

Peter Schrager of GMF on the NFL Network has the Bills as a 5th seed for the playoffs. Do they lose the 1st game of the season? Bills play up or down to their competition at times like all teams can. Last year they lost their opener to the Jets. The answer to your question is they can be beat and the Cards can beat them. I like the attitude of the team leaders like K1, White and Jones...they are ready to prove to everyone that the Cards are better than many expect...they can still lose, but I will be looking to see if they are sound or not sound in the way they play...win or lose.

It is time to have Baker blitz if we're not getting a pass rush otherwise. The Bills will plan for BB to blitz from the weak side on some snaps, and when he does blitz, then the Bills will set up a screen behind BB, or pass to a TE in the flat. The OLB will have to decide fast what piece of turf to protect: end or flat. Tough call for Rallis.

Game 1 is always a WIN for either the home or away team. A WIN sets the attitude for the who month of September. I think the Cardinals might think, "SO WHAT, WE HAVE 3 HOME GAMES AFTER BUF." If a team is looking past Sunday, it's the Cardinals. IMHO. EZ

If the Cardinals lose, and an Arizona color analyst says, "That was a moral victory," I'm throwing a boot at the 65" TV. I don't accept that a lose has anything to do with morals, principles, policies, or politeness. Losing is for LOSERS. Dot. Out.

Let me think this through THE BUFFALO BILLS were 13-3 in 2020 who were one of there 3 losses to? Did the CARDINALS NOT BEAT THEM? (With a rookie College head coach at that)
