“The culture is BUILT”. Love hearing this. They know the marching orders His comments on Paris, Darius and BJ...really positive. Every year is a contract year and earning a spot...Conner and others have stated the same thought...the team is wired right.

You know there have been many interviews with various Cardinal players. There seems to be a common theme. They have all bought into the culture that's being cultivated and went out of their way to say so.
Championship teams have to believe the entire organization is in it to win it and not just put a team on the field so the owners can sit back and collect the money.
It's still a little early, but from my point of view....its full steam ahead.
I can't wait for the Bills game. An east coast away game.....they won't see us coming.
I looked back at last year's opening game against the Washington Commanders. Even with no starting QB, and everything being brand new, JG almost pulled of a win.
JG will have the team prepared.
GO CARDS!!!

I looked back at last year's opening game against the Washington Commanders. Even with no starting QB, and everything being brand new, JG almost pulled of a win. JG will have the team prepared. GO CARDS!!!I feel very good that the Cardinals will surprise the Bills. Everyone forgets (all people remember is Rodgers was injured on the 4th play) that the Jets beat the Bills in the opener last year with Josh Allen throwing 3 picks. Bills have a new DC, new safeties (ask the Bengals how their experiment worked last year in replacing 2 vet safeties with inexperienced young players) and of course a lot of inexperienced WR's who will take weeks to being jelling with their QB. On the other hand, the Cardinals bring back their entire coaching staff and other players including Gardeck have stated in press conferences how tied together the team is in knowing assignments including even the why a particular defense is being called. The other part of the pre-season I am looking forward to is the practices (Aug) vs. the Colts. Last year was a disaster as Colt McCoy's noodle arm allowed the Vikes to dominate in those scrimmages. KM1 vs. Anthony Richardson - both Cardinals and Colts could be considered "sleeper" teams to make the playoffs. I will be very interested in the reports coming out of Indy that week. Last things I'll mention is -- how great would it be if NFC Offensive ROY award voting has both MHJ and Tre Benson getting top 5 votes with hopefully the former actually winning the award. Would also love to see Darius Robinson getting into the top 5 for NFC Defensive ROY as this past draft had much more offensive talent going into the top 45 picks. DR should get plenty of snaps and a 7-8 sack rookie season could put him into consideration for the DROY award.

I think he has a chance at 10 sacks. The D seems better and plus JG and his players year 2 in his system. The secondary too seems deeper.

Love Dennis Gardeck. The total epitome of "underdog"! The comments about how the culture is in place made me wonder if there ever was a culture prior to 2023? If so it must have been about how underdogs can still win.

The Barbarian without high snap counts on defense looks like an 8-12 sack specialist in 2024.
