FLCF's take: There is no doubt that B.J. Ojulari is one player on the Arizona Cardinals who is ready for a breakout year in 2024. The 6'2" 256lb linebacker from LSU was the Cardinals 41st pick in the second round in last year's 2023 NFL Draft. B.J. has bulked up during the off season. Combine that with a strong finish in the 2023 season, the Cardinals have the makings of a strong edge rusher in the upcoming season. Ojulari comes from a football family as his older brother Azeez plays for linebacker for the New York Giants The two brothers parents are from Nigeria. They both grew up playing High School Football in Marietta Georgia Azeez went to The University of Georgia while B.J. became an LSU Tiger. The Cardinals had to like the closing speed that B.J. possesses ( See video below) in getting after the quarterback. In his draft profile under the NFL.COM site below. He scored a 74 ranking 10th in production and 68 in athleticism. He was relentless at LSU. In 2024 the beefed up Ojulari is expected to far surpass the 4 sacks in his 2023 rookie season. His 64.8 PFF score though not bad for a rookie definitely is not what he expects of himself. B.J. Highlights 2023 season: Click on the video where it says watch on You Tube 1:48 minute mark running down the back during a run ( closes fast) 7:00 minute mark just a beautiful sack fights off release by the tight end, the pulling right guard is too late. 7:55 B.J. finishes another sack versus Atlanta B.J highlights college www.nfl.com/prospects/bj-ojulari/32004f4a-5542-6541-4cd9-8e817d1b55142024 One month ago: KS Cummings interview ( in depth interview) B.J. shows strong mature attitude all along his career path. BJ needs to put on some LBS via muscle and not the way I do it (FAT) every 4 days or so. I definitely see the potential in his short tenure so far but he was selected 41st overall and hopefully he'll start to really contribute to the defense.

I definitely see the potential in his short tenure so far but he was selected 41st overall and hopefully he'll start to really contribute to the defense. BJ progress in 2024 is a key whether the Cards win around 7 games or win 9+ -- the secondary should be better at each spot of the secondary including the absence of "often-torched" Marco Wilson. A better pass rush will help the guys on the back end. I will be very happy if BJ Ojulari's 2nd season compares favorably to NY Giants young edge rusher KAYVON THIBODEAUX. BJ Ojulari is 6'3" 256 lbs. while Kayvon is 6'4" i 258 Lbs. Wingspan -- BJ Ojulari is just under an incredible 82" while Kayvon T = 79 1/2" Both had 7 sacks their last college season BOTH had 4 sacks their rookie season in the NFL. Kavyon Thibodeaux had 11.5 sacks his 2nd season with the Giants (2023). Can BJ match or better Kayvon progress and get to 11.5+ sacks in 2024 ?
