QB: Kyler Murray, QB2 Desmond Ridder (high 3rd round pick #74, 6’-3”, 210 lbs), practice squad Clayton Tune. Note that Tune, a 5th rounder last year, is actually a year older than 2022 draft Ridder. Tune is 25, Ridder 24.
RB: Conner, rookie Benson (one of if not top RB in this draft), Carter
WR: MHJ (consensus non-QB player in 2024 daft!), Michael Wilson, Dortch, FA Chris Moore, possibly Palmer (or PS)
TE: McBride, Higgins, Reiman
T: PJJ (LT?), Williams (RT?), Beachum backup both spots, Daley and rookie Jones
G: Will Hernandez (RG), Wilkinson (LG), rookie Adams (compete for LG), O’Donnell, Colon
C: Froholdt, Brown
Oline question mark: 2023 4th rounder Jon Gaines II who could emerge at G or C
Thats 26 guys, one or two too many. Anyone else see it differently?
Starting lineup
QB Murray RB Conner WR1 MHJ WR2 Wilson TE McBride LT Paris RT Williams RG Hernandez LG Wilkinson or Adams C Froholdt 11th man WR Dortch or blocking TE Reiman
Built to run, including Kyler with designed runs, and all the receiving options tall and strong. This is no longer the KK/Keim offense!

This is no longer the KK/Keim offense! You do not see M Hayes he is going into his 3rd year...as a rookie he was solid in training camp...then injured and with new staff last year, he was apparently gone and now I see him on the roster. The rookie guard and Gaines...that is a lot of good options as well as how good Colon played in 2023. I would not be surprised to see PJJ at RT again and have Jones slide into guard if needed...with 13-15 OL players to choose from the competition will be high in this off-season. Sears says he likes what they have as per players and Monti said the best will make the roster...outside ILB there is a ton of extra players at every position. He said he is turning players away from the facility due to rules and there are many players wanting to get a jump start on the season.

Yeah there is a reason I made an offense roster thread and not a defense roster thread…yet. Defense is hard to figure out. Need some training camp and preseason games to take a solid educated guess at that. And that’s a good thing! 12 CB’s fighting for roster spots! 7 DE’s and 7 DT’s! 10 LB’s!

I really like the part about players wanting to get into the facility and start working early. Also think the competition and training camp is going to be fantastic.

Depth QB Ridder WR Palmer WR Moore RB Benson TE Higgins LT Beachum RT Daley or Jones RG O’Donnell LG Adams C Gaines Hjalte has a lock on Center in 2024...LG Adams is a player...playing out of position for Ill. in 2023 for the betterment of the team and he is actually a better or natural guard...Monti may have pulled off a steal. If he translates as he should...he is on track to slip into the starting rotation at guard LT Paris 6'6" 320 LT Adams 6'4" 320 C Froholdt 6'5" 315 RG Hernandez 6'2" 335 RT Williams 6'5" 320 TE Reiman 6'5" 271 TE McBride 6'4" 250 TE Higgins 6'3" 235 WR MHJ 6'4" 210 QB K1 5'10" 207 RB Connor 6'1" 233 There is the 11 personnel package. 3 yards and a cloud of dust..until the defense moves up and hello McBride and MHJ down the field
