If and it's a really big if the Cardinals can stay relatively injury free then I predict they win 11 or 12 games and possibly win the division. I feel that the rams, the niners and the Seahawks of all lost a step and for once it appeared that for the most part the Cardinals drafted players that should make an impact and filled positions of need without reaching outrageously for any of the guys.
Some of you of course will laugh at this prediction as is your right but I still fall back on the year that the Cardinals were eight and all and had the Packers beat if not for an AJ Green brain dead moment. Under the right conditions the little dude is nearly unstoppable. If I were coach Gannon I would strongly suggest to Murray that he get together with his receivers and tight ends and the rookie running back as soon as possible. I would also strongly suggest to Murray that he should be taking at least 5,000 snaps under center on his own before training even starts

I see the offense but just don’t see the defense. I DO think the defense should improve. In the draft, we added a legit first round rookie at one of our biggest weaknesses with Robinson, added a CB who could be a starter some time in year 1, and DB’s to compete over remaining backfield spots. In FA, we added a decent CB, a good LB, and a bunch of interior Dline to compete, one of which is a legit starter. We didn’t lose anything defensively in FA.
So a better D, but we were near the bottom last year. Now I’m hoping 15th-20th. That would be a huge improvement.
Because of the defense, and still questionable Oline, I see us as a 8-10 win team.

With this draft, at the very, very least the Cardinals are a lock for the playoffs.
I don't think they will make it to the Superbowl this year, but next year at this time they will be much more likely to be drafting fourth from the bottom of the list rather than fourth from the top.
And it will be many a year before the Cardinal players get to go on vacation in January again. . . . . . .

I would be more optimistic if the other division opponents would be from the NFC South rather than the now super-tough NFC NORTH ! Also besides the division opponents, Cards will have to face these opponents on the road (though Cards do play Panthers on the road):
Green Bay Packers Minnesota Vikings Miami Dolphins Buffalo Bills
The home games outside of NFC West are: Top 2 will have SFS filled with road team fans-
Detroit Lions Chicago Bears New England Patriots New York Jets Washington Commanders Los Angeles Chargers
I think the team will be appreciably better but it doesn't seem to matter what the Cardinals do to get a 4th place schedule - they ended up with the 2nd toughest schedule by end of 2023 season and it surely is a top 6-7 schedule for 2024.

At least one of the corners will be starter, love the safety we picked up he will play in 3 safety look. Also backup the starters. The front 7 is much improved with FA additions on the DL, Robinson is a stud. So depending on what injuries do to us expect this to be 12-15 range unit. Huge improvement.
Offense can be scary good. With a star wr1, Michael Wilson a solid Wr2, rising star TE, throw in a little Dortch touches, this is a dynamic passing attack. BUT, this isn’t even the meat and potatoes of the offense. Retooled OL with run maulers and unleash the beast masters Connor/Benson- sprinkle in a little Michael Carter touches. The goal of this offense is never punt in a game, which they did against the Eagles. Control the clock, suffocate the will of other team. This is at least top 5 offense.
With the fierce JG coaching there is no telling how far this young aggressive team will go. The new Houston sure, playoffs sure, … TBD

I'm optimistic about the Cardinals knocking on the glass ceiling and achieving 9 wins to go with 8 losses in 2024. Because the Cardinals only won 8 games out of the last 34 in 2022-2023, winning 9 games in 2024 will be a heck of a positive leap up the NFL competition ladder. The Cardinals breaking through that glass ceiling and making the playoffs is possible. Along with the Cardinals, the 49ers, Rams, and Seahawks got better with their Draft picks. My long-range NFC West Division ranking forecast for January 2025 is 1. 49ers, 2. Cardinals,
3. Rams, 4. Seahawks. If QB Murray starts 17 games, signaling that he's durable and getting the job done, the Cardinals might win 10-11 games. If Murray does not start all games, I will split the games started by QB Ridder between wins and losses. QB Ridder is a .500 QB and has durability. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desmond_Ridder

It is nice to see the optimism...JAB is appearing to be more positive about the season. It is great to be talking about positive expectations for the birds...maybe our new TE will start to believe in the existence of the avian.

K1 may becoming the little Thomas that can.
