We can't know. But Gannon does talk about a "price of admission" to being a Cardinal. I don't know 100% what that means. I do speculate Odunze is a Gannon type guy, because I've watched every interview I can find of the kid. He's smart, passionate, personable and wants to prove he's the best. MHJ comes off as polite, professional and a bit robotic. So what you are saying is MHJ comes of ike his father Marvin Harrison who is a Hall of Famer and was the consummate professional.

Genes come from both mom and dad. Some kids get more of one, some less.
No guarantees either way and no clones, just parental influence to guide them.
"Like father, like son" does not always happen, but attitudes may be learned.

Maybe the Cards would rather not have all the publicity with MHJ, just football focus.
