NFL to Demand Vikings and Falcons flipping #8 & #11 for Cousins Tampering ?I just came across this and you know the Vikings would love to get to #4 and give up less draft capital. On the other hand prior to this potential news, I was thinking the Cards would take #11 and trade up to #8 with the Falcons. #8 is worth 150 points more than #11 when dealing with Monti if the NFL would do this as a penalty to the Vikings. NOW - Monti can trade back to #8 get Odunze, get #23 and maybe now a 2025 2nd or 3rd rounder ? Problem for Monti with this move is whether the Bears love Odunze to then trade with the Titans and jump the Cards at #8. NOTE: For some reason, Mike Florio hates the Cardinals so is he floating this "obvious" Falcons tampering to help the Vikes lower the draft capital to the Cardinals ?

No! We draft Marvin Harrison Jr if he's on the board and possibly have our next Larry Fitzgerald over the next 10 seasons.
Give me a number for that?
A dominant wide receiver that is incredibly hard to defend in the red zone.
Don't we have like three third round picks?
Our problem in this draft is not the amount of picks we have it's just getting them right.
We had better take Marvin Harrison Jr if he is still on the board at number 4.

IMO Marvin Harrison Jr is as close to a sure thing as you can get in any draft. and To me he is the only player in this draft that's at least a lock to be good and potentially a Hall of famer. You don't pass that up. Skill on the field intelligence off the field. Those dudes don't bust.

Can you imagine Harrison catching for Mahomes (KC), or Harrison catching for Allen (BUF)? Pencil Harrison in for 100 catches and 1500 yards per season with either QB. How about Harrison catching for QB Murray? I think 100/1500 is again doable...but only if the OL is fixed. Otherwise, its DHop and Hollywood reruns. Also, HC Gannon and Petzing are trending towards running the ball more in 2024-2025. Does that HC/OC strategy then cause Harrison to not get 9-10 targets per game? That's a rhetorical question...no answer is needed or possible. I'm looking forward to April 26th as I am sure you are, JAB. If we don't get Harrison, I can live with it.

You always take a great player when you can get one. Every draft year it's the same thing and I don't mean you personally but we need to draft and fill holes we need more picks. We have a lot of holes to fill and on and on and every year the draft comes the draft goes and we don't fill those holes. The only super bowl we ever went to was on a 9 and 7 team that had five great players. Marvin Harrison Jr is over 6 ft tall Kyler Murray has been trying to throw to these 5 ft 7 midget wide receivers. We can't draft an entire offensive line and fix the defense in one draft but what we can do is get what could be and should be either the best wide receiver in the league or one in the top five. Give me five players of that caliber and our holes around the rest of the team gets smaller and a lot easier to fill.

I think the issue here is is there enough difference between Marvin Harrison Jr and the other two top receivers to where the overall roster would be better by trading down and picking up one or two more starters. As great as Larry was if that year the Cardinals said traded down from that spot and picked up another receiver who was almost as good as Larry and at least another starter then if the Cardinals had competed for a super bowl no one would have cared how great Larry became with another team. Regardless of what Monty does it is important that all the players he draft and at least the first second and maybe some of the third rounders turn it to productive starters. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion in my humble opinion is that with our first three draft picks whether it's three first rounders or two first rounders and a second rounder I want one of the top receivers, I want one of the two best interior offensive lineman and I want one of the top ranked corners.

No such thing of a dominant wr without a good QB. I never seen a wr be the main reason for a teams success. Fitzgerald was a great wr, but amounted to bumkiss when cards had no qb
