This draft makes a lot of sense.

Listening to him talk about Harbaugh's strategy is exactly why I wanted him a long time ago. I'm cool with our current coach, but I love coach's that stick to plans and Harbaugh builds his teams the way I believe in building teams. I have to hope that Monti does what Klatt is suggesting HB is going to do

We are also in a building mode, just like the Chargers. Them cutting their two WR’s this year were like us cutting DHop and Simmons last year. It’s what new GM’s and HC’s do when the contracts and cap are messy from the old regime. Both of us have our QB1. We both have tons of holes.
Everything he says about the Chargers applies to us. Us needing to get a weapon for Kyler applies to them. My gut is Monti understands this. He was with the Patriots. I think he deals. He was brave enough to trade down from #3 in his first season as GM, and then immediately wheel and deal several more times, up and down. He looked like he was having more fun during the trades than when he made his picks.
Watch the first six minutes. This dude is in his element making trades.

So as I SAID, Monti's trade partner is with the Giants. Cardinals get a haul and Harrison at the 6th pick. Harbaugh gets his OL man with the 5th pick. Harbaugh doesn't draft a WR @ #5. Jim Harbaugh will always be a run first NFL head coach.

Hope that the team will really with the coach a year under his belt to get adjusted to being a new HC in the league. Second year will pass like flying colors.
