Best way to pull off a big cheat is to give the enforcers an easy error as the real egregious cheat slides under the radar and satisfies oversight entities. Complexities of contracts and performance bonuses and accelerators can have extenuated verbiage and gray area along with the sheer number of player contracts and transactions...could fool less than fully committed auditors.
