It’s tough to make unofficial forums happen. Been there before.
If this board does not work out know throughout everything it was ultimately fun.
Minus when Max Hall started.

I thought someone was dying? The old board was the one going out. It ran it's course "lots" of people stopped posting there. This might not work but not being the so called main forum which most teams don't have anymore will have nothing to do with it. A new site with a new way of doing things and a fresh start just might be the ticket.

I read Urban's announcement on the Cards' website. He gave a list of many NFL teams that had also changed to the "comment below a published article" method for fans
to speak out on the team website. That means all other team sponsored boards are either gone or going.
"Every team in the NFL will make a similar switch over the coming weeks. Thus far, 14 other teams in addition
to the Cardinals have made the conversion: the 49ers, Seahawks, Jets, Eagles, Jaguars, Steelers, Redskins,
Giants, Saints, Ravens, Patriots, Raiders, Colts and Packers."
I think there is a place and a demand for a general fan forum that will continue in the foreseeable future. Fan interest and involvement made this one spring into existence. With thoughtful organization of capable and willing fan "sponsors" and
division of work, this one should be around as long as the NFL and the Cardinals are viable.
No need to write an obituary for this up and coming forum, IMHO.

You got that right and this is the off season. Good start if you ask me.

I'm not going anywhere. This is the official, unofficial forum in my opinion

I don't like the idea of just following around folks and commenting on the sports writers ideas, e.g., Urban Headlines, etc. Arizona fans are not sheep. We think, we write, we argue.

It may be cheaper, but I hate that NFL teams are moving in this direction. It does not encourage team community.

Why did the official forum close? To be honest, I think this forum is great. It’s all about the people who participate, anyway. I hope this forum not only survives, but thrives! I appreciate the folks that maintain our new home..

Problem with a lot of those boards is if your not on Twitter or Facebook you can't post. I've never been on either one so I don't get to post. And I'm not joining either one just so I can post.

Question: How would a new Cardinal fan find out about this #1 unofficial Arizona Cardinals forum board?

Question: How would a new Cardinal fan find out about this #1 unofficial Arizona Cardinals forum board? I will be posting in the comments of the Cards website touting our board. Plus we are starting to show up in Google searches. Our board transitioned most of the people from the old board so we already have dedicated posters.

I've always preferred this style of message board. Twitter is a sh%t talking mess, and we all now know of Facebook's privacy and data selling issues. I may not post often, but I like seeing the pulse of our fan's in this forum.
