The strength of schedule should favor the Cardinals next season. Split games in the NFCW Division and split games the AFC East Division. Does Gannon double the wins next season? Record w/l forecast 8-9 or 9-8? I'll have a better forecast after the new FA and Draft data is known.

Welcome to Miami, may need to look into heading to that one. Usually the appealing away games are scheduled at undesirable times, curious to see when that one ends up. Early part of year, no thanks. Last time they played in GB with Rosen, it was a Dec game.

Welcome to Miami, may need to look into heading to that one. Usually the appealing away games are scheduled at undesirable times, curious to see when that one ends up. Early part of year, no thanks. Last time they played in GB with Rosen, it was a Dec game. My first thoughts on this schedule were all the possible cold weather games Since we don't know the dates yet. Just looking at the cold weather cities Green Bay Buffalo Seattle Carolina can be cold and snowy as well Thank goodness The Vikings play indoors now

The Seahaeks need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. It would be a shame for them to lose.

I know there are some that would prefer us to lose as to have a better chance at a higher draft choice. I'm not among them, but I get it.
No matter what you prefer. This might make it easier to know who to root for this weekend.
1 Chicago Bears (via Panthers)
2 Washington Commanders: 4-12 Play the Cowboys
3 New England Patriots: 4-12 Play the Jets
4 Arizona Cardinals: 4-12 Play the Seahawks
5 New York Giants: 5-11 Play the Eagles
6 Los Angeles Chargers: 5-11 Play the Chiefs
7 Tennessee Titans: 5-11 Play the Jaguars
8 New York Jets: 6-10
9 Atlanta Falcons: 7-9
10 Chicago Bears: 7-9
Looking at that. If we lose, we are guaranteed at least the #4 spot. If we lose and either the Commanders and/or the Patriots win. Perhaps as high as #2.
If we win, the worst spot would be the #7 spot. Anything better would depend on if the Giants, Chargers, or Titans win, or if they lose, then tie breakers.
Hell even with a win, it's possible we could still end up with the #2 pick. Thats a long shot for sure. The Commanders and Patriots would have to win. The Giants, Chargers, and Titans would either have to win or lose the tie breaker. Lots of very big ifs, but there it is.
That would be the perfect scenario.....lol. ( I understand the best-case scenario may not be possible because of tie breakers. Still, and as I understand it, the tiebreakers won't be known until the last games are over. )
By the way here is the tie breaker rules...
Head-to-head, if applicable
Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games (minimum of four)
Strength of victory in all games
Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed in all games
Best net points in all games
Best net touchdowns in all games
Coin toss
So this week end....root for the Commanders, Patriots, Giants, Chargers, and the Titans....Also the root for the Colts vs the Texans....you know why.
For me, I think winning these last two games is more important than one might think regardless of what it does to our draft position. We have a brand-new regime, and in my opinion, developing a winning mentality is more important than where we draft. Beating two playoff contenders these last two games will go a long way in the players and coaches believing that we are on the right track and not just going through the motions. Winning is contagious.
Go Cards!!!!

I agree with Thomas Cat, above, regarding winning out the last two games of 2023 to set a positive culture tone going into the long offseason. There is no harm done by winning a game. The Draft Day 1 consequences of 1 win will be erased by multiple other events after Day 3.
I am rooting for the Patriots to beat the Jets this weekend. That's the one game that matters most to the Cardinals draft position.
The Cowboys sure as hell won't let the Commanders get on top of them.
The other game of course is the Texans v. Colts on Saturday. This one won't be close either.
