storage.proboards.com/6938373/thumbnailer/ZPNJazDwxjJxPJssbHue.pnThe Game Day Thread Cardinals vs Rans, Hi Everyone & Welcome to Week 12 of The NFL Season, Your Arizona Cardinals face the LA Rams today at State Farm Stadium. The Cardinals are coming off a disappointing loss to the Houston Texans. When your team allows An opponent to amass 333 yards in one half of football, you have a problem. Kyler Murray Had a difficult game and that magnified The Cardinals plight. So, the Cardinals record stands at 2-9 and in the basement gallows of The NFC West. The 4-6,Rans are in town this week. The Rams come off a 17-16 win over the Seahawks last Sunday. So they should be riding high with confidence. When we play the Rams , I can’t help but envision In my mind that ridiculous 6 ft pick six in the playoff game of two seasons ago, If we play smart football and Kyler can get under center more we might have a chance at victory. It all remains to be seen today on THE GAME DAY THREAD. FLCardinalFan FLCF

Someone at SFS is working hard to convince fans and season ticket buyers that our QB#1 is comfortable taking a snap under Center. The facts from the 2 previous games, and this image, are out of sync. About this image, there is zero defense in front of the QB, not even a wall of padded sleds for him to look over. But the QB#1 is trying to improve the tactics. I give him credit for effort. Now beat LAR!

Did you notice K1's throwing motion and footwork in that vid! Oh No! Where is the QB coach! The hop hop and then flat footed throwing motion. UGH!

This is a huge game for draft position. KM plays scared facing Aaron Donald. He gets rid of the ball real fast. And that first round game between the two teams may have been the worst performance I've ever seen by a QB in a big game. Kyler CHOKED massively.

I mentioned that game in the Thread intro Has to be a record for the shortest pick 6 Ever. He flung that ball like a pop Warner kid at QB I may be going against the grain here, but that play never made me think he is lousy. He was trying to prevent a safety. He was going down and tried to through the ball away. Because of his being tackled, the attempt went all wrong. I guess you could say he should have throne it left or right, higher or lower, but he had a tenth of a second to get it right all the while being tackled. I hated it as much as anyone, but it was a tough situation that even the best might not have done better. Sorry FLCardinalFan... , but I would not call that pop Warner. It was just a tough situation and it ended up going wrong. As far as KM being our long term QB. Before the season even started, I said he had a 50 50 chance. So far, my opinion on that has not changed....ask me at the end of the season, then I can give you a more informative opinion.

Did you notice K1's throwing motion and footwork in that vid! Oh No! Where is the QB coach! The hop hop and then flat footed throwing motion. UGH! Excellent observation. I noticed. Murray does that hop-hop and then arm throws from an awkward lower body position. Feet wrong. Hips wrong. No wonder balls flutter on some passes. And the ball seems to die in mid-air 30-40 yards down field, like last week. True in this video, it's just one or two passes, and not how he throws in game situations. In games, we get to see all kinds of quirky balls come flying out his hand. IMV, the throwing motion in the video is an old habit that Murray just cannot seem to break, or want to break. Or, he's convinced himself that body position does not matter for him because he's so physically gifted. And another thought, during training camp which Murray missed this past summer, the QB coach is constantly reminding the rookie Tune and backup Driskel about body position basics. The two QBs are mirror-images of each other doing reps again, and again, and again, until the throwing motions become a routine. I've never seen Murray do the same drills with his underlings. If he did train with Tune and Driskel, and no one was looking, their throwing differences would be stark. This video proves my point. My second point is that Murray is not going to change his motions because some QB coach thinks he should. That's called stubbornness.

Curt Warner pointed out “things” that Murray was going to have to work on in his rookie year on a QB film study of him…much of it was on his footwork and ball position release points upon delivery and set-up. He had said that his talent and skill level was such that these “issues” are compensated for or hides them…but that NFL defenses and coordinators would slowly begin to exploit them when more film on him at this level was developed. Take it from a HOF QB…don’t kill the messenger…cause in his 5th year in the league…we may be just seeing what Warner was talking about way back when.

Take it from a HOF QB…don’t kill the messenger…cause in his 5th year in the league…we may be just seeing what Warner was talking about way back when. So we are on the same page. Murray continues with throwing habits that worked for him since High School. We now understand the "why." Meanwhile, 31 NFL teams are recording Murray's habits and adjusting defenses to exploit 4.7 years of film. Murray's peak of performance was in 2021, half way through year 3. In year 4, he won 3 games. In year 5, he won 1 game so far. Can Murray remake himself? That was Warner's question 4.7years ago! The 2 games (1-1) Murray has played in 2023 are not enough sample size to answer the question. Murray had time off to think and change since December 2022. He's auditioning for a job in 2024 now. Some people won't make it to the opening curtain the next season. I hope Murray does make it. Is it too early to yell, "Folks, the show is over! Please leave by the closest exit." Yes, too early.
