BTW, you guys can have Byron Murphy Jr. back. The guy is awful. He might be Fred Smoot levels bad. I mean if Brian Flores can't get you to play well, you're probably just a bad player. The awful angles he takes, the poor vision, the non existent tackling. I'd mention how bad he is in coverage but I've yet to see him cover anyone.

131 Yards I think. Not bad for a slight TE...

While I say this with togue and cheek, in reality I think it would be fair. We gifted you with an almost starting quality QB for a measly 6th round pick. The least you could do is send Murphy back to us for free.....I don't care if he is not playing that well, we could use him....

Just checking in to see if the usual suspect(s) will be talking crap about McBride this week (undersized, untalented, etc). Anyone? Don’t forget bad hands.

first time in 34 years 100 yards by a Cardinals tight end Sad to think about Holy moly, 34 years? That's almost incredible. I had to look it up, yep you've only had 4 100 yard TE's since 1980. The Vikings have only had 14 so I was kind of surprised by that considering the TE's we've had in recent memory. Hockenson was actually the 15th today with his 134 yards. There have been a total of 695 100 yard TE games in the NFL since 1980 coming into today. Which is an average of about 22 per team, so I guess both our teams are well below avg in that department. The 2nd longest drought belonged to the Saints who haven't done it since 2016 lol. That makes your drought even more fascinating. Nearly 5x longer than anyone else. The Chiefs have the most at 73, followed by the Patriots at 58.

Maybe Murray and Dobbs and McBride and Hockenson will change all that.

Murphy did make the int that sealed the win for y'all. And contested both TD catches, but did not win either contest. As a Dbin the NFL as it s now, sometimes you win, most of the time any more you lose.

Pats and Chiefs is all you have to look at for how much using the TE can help your team. McBride is a stud if used properly. He is athletic and he can run people over.

Also true is that for some strange quirk in good/bad luck, the Cardinals just cannot keep a healthy and good TE around for very long. The team history is littered with examples of good TE athletes that got chewed up in CHI, STL, and PHO.

It's almost like coache's for the cardinals seem to forget them. McBride is a TE worthy of making sure he is a big part of the offense plus it gives Kyler a big target. Using the TE puts pressure on the defense to account for the TE and it opens things up for Wr's and the Running game.
