GAME WEEK 8 ARIZONA CARDINALS VS BALTIMORE RAVENS
' Highlights Cardinals vs Seahawks
Recap of Cardinals vs Seahawks The Cardinals continue their late game scoring drought.
Our best offensive weapon in the Seahawk game was sadly our punter
Blake Gillikin who averaged over 48 yds per punt Sunday.
Turnovers were even in the Cardinals favor 3-0. A good football
team does not lose going away with 3 takeaways ( 1 INT 2 fumbles.
What was frustrating was seeing 0-3 on 4th down conversions.
Some of which were questionable. Clayton Tune passing for only 4 yds
on what was a 4th and 9 was inexcusable. Speaking of downs 3rd down
effiency was atrocious 5-15. QB Josh Dobbs accuracy was
part of the problem. He hit for only 17-30 passes for 146 yds.
RB Emari Demercado showed some flash carrying the ball 13 times for
58 yds (4.8 avg per carry).
On defense, CB Garrett Williams had his 1st NFL intcerception
in his first game as a starter. On the negative side
DL B.J Ojulari had only one assisted tackle. His PFF rating
is only 59.7 for his total of 3 assists on the season.
Fans expect more from a 2nd round draft pick.
Once again the Cardinals had too many penalties in a game
7 for 60 yards in this Sunday's contest. The defense
allowed too many big plays and 3rd down effiency was
well over 50 % for the Seahawks. Geno Smith did enough
to win the game. RB Kenneth Walker ran the ball for over
105 yds on 26 carries (4.0 avg.) The Seahawks on defense pressured
Josh Dobbs who was sacked 4 times in the game.
The Cardinals need players to give them a spark.
Budda Baker is now back and what he does on the field
the rest of the season means alot to younger players looking up to him.
Its good to be home next week as the Baltimore Ravens come to town.
