Lions 21-20, morale of this story. Hang in there and fight to bitter end, out gunned in most hostile environment. Listening Cards, it can be done.

I was watching the Chris Simms podcast this morning. They were doing predictions. It was him and Mike Florio.
Chris predicted
Commanders 28 Cardinals 13
Florio predicted
Commanders 28 Cardinals 10
After the prediction, Florio said that "I will pick the Cardinals to lose every week...you can bank on that" ___________________
I am going to the Chargers vs. Dolphins game on Sunday. On of my sons is a Dolphins fan and invited me to go to the game at SO-FI. I will try to follow the Cardinals game as much as possible on my phone.
My prediction is..
Cardinals 24 Commanders 21
How did I come up with this score? Well last season, Dobbs started two games for the Titans and lost both. In the first game the Titans had 13 points. In the second game the Titans had 16 points. The Titans top WR last season and in that last game was Robert Woods...
Robert Woods 2022 season: 527 yards receiving, 2 TD's Week 17 against the Jaguars: 40 yards receiving, 0 TD's (their TE had the most yards in that game with 42 receiving yards, 1 TD
My point is that with Dobbs at QB and an awful WR Corp, the Titans manage to score 16 points in their last game. Henry had 109 yards rushing and 0 TD's in that game. Now, our WR Corp is way way better than what Tennessee had last season or in that game. Just on that alone, I can actually see Dobbs helping us get 8 more points than his best game which was bad....
I predicted the Commanders will get 21 points. Just so you know, the Commanders scored 21 points or less in 11 games last season. Will Howell do the same or worse? Last season they had Brian Robinson, Terry McClaurin, Antonio Gibson and Jahan Dotson...if they still have the same starting RB Corp and WR Corp...and both those corps scored 21 points or less in 11 games, why would I not think they will score 21 points or less, especially since their starting QB has started only one NFL game and was a 5th round pick QB.
Have I mentioned that J.G. had the best passing defense with non elite players last season? Have I mentioned we yet have to see B.J. Ojulari play his first game, which I think he will be active for this game? We still have Buddha and Jalen as our Safeties. Will Collins and Gardeck sack the "rookie" QB? Can we stop their run game or at least contain it? Robinson and Gibson had combined 5 rushing TD's and 3 receiving TD's last season. McLauren and Dotson had a combined 12 receiving TD's last season. Let me see, what else am I leaving out? How will Trey McBride play against them? How will Connor play against them? Do you think Connor will get a lot more carries in this first game? Last season, Connor had about 15 to 16 rushing attempts with our back up QB's. Do you think that J.G. will give more carries to Connor with a backup QB than what Kliff did? I think so.
Anyways, if you guys don't hear from me on Sunday, it is because I am at the So-Fi watching the Dolphins vs. Chargers...
This first game will give us a very good idea how good or bad our team will be without Murray....
GO CARDINALS....Upset the Commanders and make all the analysts eat some crow....

Kelvin Beachum is OUT for Sunday so the teams' OL is even more thin. Cards lack of depth is worrisome as temps will be in low 80's but humidity will be almost 90% ... YIKES.

It's the South. We sweat for fun here in VA. Criminee. Not surprised about Beachum. He's hobbling into retirement. WR Brown is a bigger concern. His hammy is bothering him a lot. He can't run. Dobbs is gonna be without Brown and maybe Ertz. Thank goodness we got WR Wilson!

Then with Ertz I think Higgins, Swaim and McBride can hold the TE position without Ertz. I would sit Brown if there is any concern. Commanders without Young is great news for the Cards. Cards just have to control the clock and frustrate the Commanders.

Jackson Barton is up from the PS to act as swing tackle, hope we don’t need him. Our starting OL is very good IMO, but dangerously thin in depth.

The ST always needed warm bodies in the past. But... I noted at the DET/KC game there were zero kickoff returns. The teams' ST guys didn't work hard that night. Maybe teams should cut the entire ST group and invest in just the O/D. That might add the depth we sorely need in the trenches. More powderpuff NFL is coming during the 2023 season. The game is changing.

Joe Alt is my pick with one of our first round picks. Never gives up a sack and immensely powerful. What bookends with him and Paris.

Expect us to blitz the hell out of Washington, see if we rattle the young qb. 2022: He as 1 game start, threw for 1 TD and 1 INT. Passed 19 times and connected on 11. Sacked 3 times. He's rattleable. Is that a word?
