Hi Everyone ( Cardinals Fans, Broncos Fans & NFL Fans ) , Welcome, The 2023 Arizona Cardinals NFL season starts Friday Night as your Arizona Cardinals play host to the Denver Broncos. Both of our teams franchises and their futures start with this game The ironic nature of these two teams playing adds to the intrigue. Some Fans on & off the forum feel Denver's head coach Sean Payton should have been the Cardinals next head coach. The irony and intrigue get deeper as former Defensive coordinator Vance Joseph now is in the same position with the Broncos. Not only that, the Broncos in the off season signed one of the Cardinals' standout free agents in DE Zach Allen. Allen's college teammate Justin Simmons plays safety for the Broncos. Denver plans on playing its starters much of this preseason contest.
Speaking of Safeties and the name Simmons. Arizona's own Isaiah Simmons will be playing at safety in 2023. Colt McCoy will get the start at quarterback and quoting Monte Ossenfort at the Club Level season ticketholder event. "All QBs should see action in the game'" The loss of RB Marlon Mack for the season will have the Cardinals scrambling to fill the void left at the running back position. Look for this young Cardinals team to play hard and "Violent" with a chip on their shoulder. Unlike in the past. several rookies and UDFA will be fighting for starting positions on the revamped Cardinals roster. Lets get this Game Day Thread Underway. GO Cardinals!

Is this the same grass that was chopped up during the Super Bowl in February? I sure looks like the same sucky sod.

www.foxsports.com/usfl/stevie-scott-iii-player-highlightsHere are some of Scott's RB highlights with the USFL Panthers last year. Scott has good size at 6'2" and 230lbs. His speed is average. He can catch the ball. Okay, that's all good. Can he contribute to the Cardinals ST? Scott's college stats were a lot more impressive than USFL and the NFL stats. BL: He peaked long ago.

Is this the same grass that was chopped up during the Super Bowl in February? I sure looks like the same sucky sod. Cardinals have been practicing on this grass for 3 weeks and the only injury is an achilles to a player that isn't in football shape yet -- not being in camp and working with the training staff. BTW: Did anyone notice that so far NO SOFT TISSUE INJURIES or any injuries of note from the team's new training regimen ? ... heck even Rondale Moore is practicing every day ! As far as the field goes - I've stated multiple times over the years and you can go back to even College bowl/championship series games, when they lay brand new sod within the "tray-system" it takes at least 5-6 weeks for the sod to mend together and create one of the best fields in the NFL. However if the sod is too new then whether it is the SB or College games, players slip a bit especially between the hashes. IMO - when Phx is going to host the SB they need to have the Cardinals play on the road the last 2 weeks of the season and MOVE any college game to Chase Field allowing 7 weeks for the new sod to take hold. My recommendation can be easily coordinated with the college game since everyone will know the date of the SB in Phx 3-4 years in advance.

What a load of crap. A Howard Balzer hit piece picked up by a local Denver hack.

Local channel 12 is scheduled to show the game, so at least most of the Phoenix area and some outlying places can see it free.
