Thanks. I looked at YT, but I believe that India has since disabled the YT feed. Maybe Phys.org or Space.com will re-post the video.

When this was first posted, I watched for maybe 12 minutes. There was a countdown clock and even though it said 10 minutes to go, it also said "just a guess" I thought it meant minutes ...not hours or days. That should have tipped me off. I then realized this was the same guy that posted a so-called live video of Betelgeuse about to go supernova. India does have a craft about to land on the moon. That part is real. However, it's not scheduled to land until Aug 23rd or 24th. As per this article.... India's Chandrayaan-3 moon rover mission aces orbit-raising maneuvers around Earth
I will give him credit for using excellent close-up video of the moon's surface. Thats what makes it believable. While I can't say for sure, I think the video that is being shown was taken from another earlier space craft and it's just being shown on a loop. If you look at this graphic from the article... It's probably not close enough yet to show that kind of detail. Still, it's a nice video at what the moon looks like close up. I have a 10" dobsonian telescope and believe it or not, I can get views of the moon almost as good. Even with a decent pair of binoculars, you can easily see the larger craters. By the way with a telescope or binoculars. The best time to view the moon is not when its full. Dot it at a quarter, half, or even 3 quarters moon. At full moon, there are no shadows. The other times will have shadows and that's what brings out the details.

I thought I would update this thread. The India space craft Chandrayaan-3 landed on the moon today. As far as I know, this is the only authentic video of the landing, or I should say landing approach. link
This was a landing on the south pole. The first one. Thats important because that's where the water/ice is. If we are going to permanently inhabit the moon and use it for research and launching missions to Mars or more. We need water for sustenance and to make rocket fuel among other things. From what I understand, landing on the south pole or the north pole is difficult. Thats why it has not been done before. It's got to do with the physics of orbital insertion or some dam thing that I don't really understand....lol. I might also mention, Russia also sent a moon lander that was scheduled to land at almost the same time. Russia’s Luna-25 spacecraft crashesI'm no fan of Russia, but this was a scientific endeavor....so I was sorry to hear this...

Goes Satellite imagery website NOAA I thought you guys would like this. You can view storms around the World. The best version are the animated loop versions to use. www.nhc.noaa.gov/satellite.php
