K1 will be 25 when the season starts. He is on pace to smash every QB record the Cards have ever had. The author compares him to Rosen and Leinart two QBs that aren’t in the same league as K1. Imagine accomplishing what K1 has done on the worst franchise in sports and reporters blaming you for the franchise being terrible and having zero leadership at any level.
Az sports reporters are total clown shows.

Kyler is 24 with an Offensive Rookie of the Year award and two Pro-Bowls. Kyler is not the problem unless he doesn’t mature or doesn’t heal. Most 24 year olds do.

I'm happy that Murray did not run off to TX again for the 2023 offseason. That's the first smart decision in his young career. The second smart decision is to hang out with teammates at every opportunity this offseason. He does not have to be a friend to anyone. But he needs to be present on workdays and a part of the daily grind. He will learn how to be a leader only if he's present and a contributor even if it's just standing on the sidelines with a crutch under his armpit and being supportive.

In my personal opinion what happens with Kyler Murray is going to define what happens with this franchise and at least the next five years. If he matures mentally and is able to recover his unique ability that he has shown then the Cardinals have a chance to build and do a competitive roster. Again in my personal opinion I think the key to this is Gannon has to develop an offense that emphasizes kyler Murray's strengths. A successful running game and lots and lots and lots and lots of short quick read passes. Again in my opinion if Murray can become comfortable being under center then the Cardinals play action pass game could be absolutely devastating because of his outstanding athletic ability. It's not to be forgot as well that he does have an outstanding arms.

The KEY thing that you accurately post…is that KM has to be able to take some viable snaps under center and utilize play action to be a more effective NFL QB. And…he must be able to read coverages while doing same and make effective progressions…from the pocket or on effectively designed roll outs to help his downfield vision. If he can’t do this to an altered new offensive system that highlights his arm strength and athletic ability…the organization must move on…regardless of the cost…based on the draft capital in place for next year. They need to get him back on the field when he is heathy and determine if he’s capable of NFL pocket and under center play or NFL defenses will limit his ability to be effective at this level…IMO.

I'm going to climb up on the soapbox again for a moment. I think we would all agree that a GM and head coach would work together and build a roster that fits there defensive and offensive schemes and that within that framework the coaches must fine tune the systems to take advantage of individual players strengths. It's clear that Kyler Murray is never going to be a Dan Marino type passer standing in the pocket because of his size. He is also devastating when he is outside the pocket. If I were the head coach whether he was under center or not at the beginning of the play I would have him moving as part of the construction of the play I nearly every past play. It is still my opinion that he would be devastating in an offense that utilize the idea of completing many short passes in a row. That does so many things to wear the defense out as well as giving the offense company. It would be great if they Cardinals running game to develop at the point of where the offense can lean on that. Then they could practically be unstoppable yeah they can tweak Tyler Murray's game. I think it's key also that they have some taller wide receivers on the roster at least at this point. I think we have to hope that Wesley returns from injury and continues to develop. I still think that you're going to be a really tough one though.
