I h@te this. The NFL is making it difficult for fans. There are too many hoops to jumps through to see what games you want to see. Apparently, you need Amazon Prime video to see most TNF this year. I looked around and found this article... Thursday Night Football: How to Watch, Stream Chargers vs. Chiefs Tonight on Prime Video or Twitch
I don't know how long they will do this, but you can see at least this game on twitch...don't worry its legit and legal.... Here is the link.... Chiefs vs Chargers
I wanted to see this game to see if the Chiefs are as good as what we made them seem. So far....not so much....lol. Be warned, there is a good two minutes time delay.

Chiefs win a close game tonight. Two really good teams played tonight....I got to admit....I'm a little jealous.

Agree, this new NFL marketing scheme is costing fans a lot more money on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday. Cox cable cost is going up again here. I use Amazon so TNF is no extra cost. Sunday Ticket, which I cannot get, will move to a new company in 2023. Apple reportedly wants ST. I can sign up with Apple unless they block streaming. NFL game access fees will continue to outpace inflation until we all go broke and die. I thought LAC played a decent game last night. Some errors happened at really bad times and some breaks did not go their way. Herbert got hurt. Some guys got tired. LAC and KC played hard. The AFC West is today what the NFC West used to be. Visiting teams get killed. So, expect the Raiders to come after the weakened Cardinals on Sunday.

"Cox cable cost is going up again here"I thought I would add this when it comes to cable companies and what they charge. I have Mediacom. As far as the service they provide...and for me that's TV, phone and internet, I'm happy with them. Their service is great, I like how their TV box works and other things. But the elephant in the room is the cost. Dang near every month, the price would go up. Most months it's only a dollar or two but sometimes even more, it adds up. Year to year its way beyond the inflation rate. Well, I got tired of it. A year ago, I called them and threatened to disconnect. To their credit they said wait a minute, maybe we can help with that....and they did. They knocked off almost 80 dollars from my bill. The thing was it would only be for one year. When that year was over....last month...it jumped up by almost a hundred dollars.....more than it was before. Well, I was mad once again. before calling them to complain, I did a little research. I found that most companies have what they call a customer retention service. Don't fool around with the first person you get to talk to. Tell them you can't afford it ( even if you can ) ask for a customer retention agent. Be polite but be firm. Tell them you just can't pay the price they are asking.....and its always a good idea to tell them there are other competing services that are offering sweet deals if you change over. These guys are not . They know if they lose you, it will be hard to get you back. Even if they do, they know they will have to offer you a discounted deal to get you back. No doubt they figure its better to give you a discounted deal now rather than spend a ton of money to get you back later. Customer acquisition is expensive....they know that. I learned that from "Shark Tank"....lol This won't work with all companies or services, but you would be surprised how many it will work with. Never be afraid to negotiate. The worst that can happen is they will say no. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. When I called the second time, I got a slightly better deal than the first time. I'm good for another year and prepared to make the same call again when time is up.

I'm good for another year and prepared to make the same call again when time is up. TC, I heard about your negotiating strategy from other folks ticked off about media company's inflation fee increases. I tried your negotiating strategy with Cox a few years ago. The rep said 'see ya dude.' He has my zip code and knows for certain that I cannot switch to another TV+Internet provider. At the same time, I dumped their 'free' landline telephone service -- what a come-on joke that was with current cell services! The rep did not know that ATT and DirecTV also would not service my home. So, bottom line, my bluff was called. I folded my weak hand. I'm still ponying up a portion of my SS check for Cox TV+Internet every month. There is no escape this year. MetroNet is burying fiber cables in the area now. In 2023, I'll again try your strategy and I bet that I win this next time. Good luck with Mediacom -- if they are monitoring this Forum conversation, they could be onto you! Double or nothing. Media companies are hauling in billions of dollars every month. Some claim to be in a financial bind. Customer account competition is stiff. A few hundred thousand customer losses in a quarter can knock millions of dollars off the company stock value in a day. A few bad quarters, and that pisses off stockholders and venture capital investors. Managers are sensitive to customer losses and stock values. They quietly accept negotiating with individual customers for 12-month fee increase waivers as the cost of doing business. Except for Cox and me. I'll get'em someday.
