They blew out the Mavs, 121-100! Maybe we won't suck as bad as everyone thinks...

They were shooting 3's and spreading the ball.. Amazing what a good coach can do to a team. Booker finished with 35 points he had like half of them in the 4th quarter. Booker, Ariza, Jackson, Ayton and Warren all looked good. This team has some potential !

Did you get a point guard? Yes the signed Jamal Crawford but he was in street clothes last night. Surprised Houston let go of Trevor Arias for Carmelo Anthony.

We should finish around a .500 team
Week 1 analysis:
- Ayton is the real deal. Unbelievable scoring ability. Rebound monster. Will never be a tough paint enforcer but he is the best center we've ever had.
- Booker cant keep up this pace. Relying on him to score 30 every night is not a long term strategy. He should settle in around 23-25 ppg.
- Josh Jackson should be used as a trade chip. Im not seeing development. He runs extremely hot/cold, thats not good. We could get something very nice for him.
- TJ Warren should start. Ive always been a big fan. Hes so dang consistent. Every night he'll get you 17. Most underrated guy in the NBA.
- No depth. Behind Booker, Ayton, and TJ we have nobody helping add points. Trevor Ariza has been inconsistent.
- Why is Canaan still playing? Put in Crawford at PG, its why you signed him.
- (still early) Where the heck is Mikal Bridges? We gave up ALOT to get him, he should be playing every minute.
We have a very good core in Brooker, Ayton and Warren. **Warren needs to be viewed as a critical core piece, because he is.

He's actually becoming more efficient while initiating the offense and handling the ball more. He averaged 25 last year. I'd actually expect a jump to the 27-28 range this year just based on better 3 point shooting and more FT attempts per game. Also, having an inside presence and shooters to space the floor will make his life a lot easier and free him up a bit more than in previous years.

Theres only been a handful of 30 PPG guys in the history of the NBA, its very difficult. We look at current all-time great scorers like Durant, whos only achieved the feat twice in 11 years. Harden has done it once. Love Book, but I dont think hes on their tier. If he settles in at 25, or even tops out at 27, thatd be outstanding.

Booker is in Jordan territory this early in his career. He should keep his foot on the gas pedal and he'll be in elite tier in no time.

Man I really like Warren coming off the bench and putting up 20, he should be starting but man he's a weapon off the bench.

Well man did this thread backfire! Suns are pretty much the NBA's version of the Cardinals! Saturday night against Oklahoma at home TJ Warren thorws a lazt out of bound pass that gets stolen and put in for two, Josh Jackson gets in Warrens face and yells " Do you want to F'n Play!!!!! " .. Yep its bad on planet orange too.. This team is loaded with talent though, no reason they should stink this bad.

Suns fans, congrats on an awesome win v. the Warriors last night. I heard ESPN say this morning that win was the biggest NBA upset in 20 years.
When everything falls right in basketball, wins are going to happen. Last night's game is proof.
