Hot damn suns..good game and don't buy into the AD injury being the key. We been playing without Chris paul...so stick that up your rear I haven't been this reved up since I met Tom chambers in Payson years ago I'm not a big guy nor small either ...im about 6'2 and 210...but when Tom shook my hand and my whole arm disappeared...all I could think of was that song..short people got no reason to live Stick it up your rear? lol Paul scoring 18 points and 9 assists is pretty good for not playing without him... Like I said, AD is the key, Lakers cannot beat the Suns with just one super star, Lebron. Pretty obvious, the stats dont lie. When Davis was held in check in game one, Suns won, Davis busted out in game 2 and 3, Suns lost. Then in a tight first half Davis goes down and Suns take over in the second half. Pretty obvious Davis is a big factor for the Lakers. The guys a franchise player by himself on another team. And yes, there is no denying this whole season success for the Suns is a big reason due to Chris Paul. This team has needed a legitimate pg for the last few years and the Suns front office continued to not get one. They finally did and look at the success. Knowing how the front office works, they will probably botch this up next year.
BTW I remember meeting Charles Barkley and I actually was looking down at him at 6'8. I dont think he is really 6'6, but he would still probably would of easily kicked my arse...

I sure do hope that your Suns knock out the Lakers. The Lakers always play the 'entitled' song this time of the year and it is so tiring.
A Spurs fan here. I know my team sucks now. A decade or more ago, the Spurs feared no team, lest the flapdoodle Lakers! The way to beat the Lakers has always been with strong Guards on offense and rock solid Defense. Get James into foul trouble. The rest of the Lakers team will fold.

Remember when Horry knocked Nash into the score table and it ended up getting guys like Amare suspended for the next game? Or when Duncan makes a 3 pointer at the end of the game to tie it. I think it was payback after Barkley sank that jump shot at the last second to beat the Spurs in the playoffs the year they went to the finals.

Barkley loved to toy with the pre-Champ Spurs and he iced more than one game with all-world skills and bravado. I do remember Barkley's infamous shot vs. the Spurs. That gut-punch bomb ended the season and was just before the Spurs started their 5-Championship dynasty run across a decade-plus timeframe. The Spurs missed a 6th Championship by a freak of nature down in Miami. Horry was credited with a few spectacular shots...BIG SHOT BOB was his nickname. Otherwise, he was a turnstile defender. Your man Steve Nash was my favorite NBA Guard until 19-yo Frenchman Tony Parker arrived and tore up the League. I could go on and on about the Spurs oldtime greats. They are a sad group these days. Good luck in the playoffs!

Good luck in the playoffs! I actually was a fan of Ginoboli. A crafty lefty. Yep big shot bob, has more rings then most NBA players with 7. I remember Horry was a big thorn in the Suns side when they would play the Rockets in the playoffs. Back to the Spurs, The Admiral David Robinson was a great player. They just didnt surround him with a lot of talent during his prime, not until Duncan came on the scene. Robinson had to rely on guys like Avery Johnson, Vinnie Del Negro. Though Sean Elliot was a good player, at one point Dennis Rodman blew into town too. But again not a lot of talent, heck they were teaming Robinson up with guys like Moses Malone. Then it all changed with the big 3, Duncan, Parker and Ginoboli.

CP3 will be able to make a three-pointer tonight and will be near or at 100% IMO because once the nerve is no longer pinched full range of motion can be achieved very quickly. I believe CP3 was worried his nerve issue would come back on Sunday if he shot a three and didn't want to push it. I believe that will not be a problem tonight -- we'll see.
Interesting Stat -
Kobe Bryant - TOTAL career games (regular season and playoff games) = 1566 games (his body broke down near the end of his career even though he was a workout fiend).
Lebron James - TOTAL career games (regular season and playoff games) = 1566 games = 1570 games [Suns need to go up tempo and wear down Lebron J.)

If you’re not watching Game 5 right now, do yourself a favor and turn it on.
Suns 60 - Lakers 32 with 3 minutes left in 1st half.

Should I mention Anthony Davis is not playing for the Lakers? lol I know, I will stop talking about that. Nice to see a blow out though.

Chris Paul hasn't really played either as he was off early and I think his shoulder is still bothering him before he went down with another injury to that same shoulder. Looks like Davis and Paul will be out in game 6 or at least Paul which is not good for us.

We looked good tonight. I’m not much of an nba fan but I’ll be keeping an eye on these playoffs.
