touchdownwire.usatoday.com/2017/01/24/super-bowl-blunder-no-5-jackie-smith-drops-a-touchdown-catch-in-the-end-zone/And then Jackie Smith had his first Super Bowl and he did this....he played well an entire career with the Cardinals, and established himself as a HoF candidate...but one mistake on the BIGGEST NFL STAGE sent him back to the Missouri netherlands. As the announcer said, "He's got to be the sickest man in America." Yep, he was. Me too. I watched that game live and remember the awful feeling in my guts. Just once in a lifetime I wanted a Cardinals player to do well. Nope, it was not going to happen that decade. Then Larry Fitzgerald happened. All that JS did wrong at a SB was forgotten.

First, I remember the first play in that video. How could I not.....10 Cowboys couldn't take him down....lol.
Besides him being a great player, Jackie Smith was a a mans man. One of my all time Cardinals favorites.
As much as I hated the Cowboys....especially back then....my heart broke when he dropped that pass. If it was that bad for me, I can't imagine what it was like for him.
