I went RB heavy which left me with a lot of wr's with potential. I have David Johnson Leonard Fournette Jordan Howard Mark Ingram Latavius Murray, Wr's Corey Davis Cooper Kupp Marqise Goodwin Tyler Lockett and Cameron Meredith. I have maybe a few breakouts maybe not but I got an offer From someone in the family league offering Deandre Hopkins and Alex Collins for David Johnson would you make the trade ?

RB63,
Answer: No.
Johnson is a bonafide dual threat (RB & Receiver) and he uses only one roster spot to accomplish the same offensive production as Hopkins (WR) and Collins (RB). Unless you are collecting offensive player jerseys, I'd use the extra roster spot to pick up another top player, suggest on defense.

P I took the trade Alex Collins is being under valued and has a pretty easy schedule. Deandre Hopkins has been dominant at the Wr position in fantasy every year no matter how bad the Qb's have been and he has his Qb back. I am so deep at RB I couldn't pass on that Wr. I hated doing it the only concern for me is how many players will David Johnson be facing in the box if "knock on wood" if bradford goes down ?

You probably made the right move. Most people look at a trade based solely on player to player value. But trades should be looked at based on how they improve the teams involved. You can only start so many players and the object is to see what combination gives you the most total team points from week to week. By starting a slightly lesser RB in place of DJ you get to start a much greater WR, the result being more points from the WR positions than you are sacrificing from the RB position. That is the way one who wants to win their league should look at it, especially the deeper into the season you are.

If I'm getting DHop and Collins yes. I traded DJ last season in my keeper league for CMacaffrey, J Mixon, and Macklin. Best thing I could have done. Bradford is really going to have to prove his worth this year because teams will be stacking the box against DJ.
