Official Game Day Thread LA Chargers @ Arizona Cardinals 11/27/22
Hi Everyone,
Welcome to the Game Day Thread. I hope everyone
had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It is a time for family
and I was glad to take a break after the Cardinals dismal
performance in Mexico. We spent our Thanksgiving
at my son and his wife's home. My daughter-in-law is Brazilian
and she is really into soccer and very knowledgeable
about the game. Brazil was playing Serbia and went on to
win 2-0. I had coached youth soccer and was terrible
as a coach over 30 years ago. Bare with me, as I get to my point.
Brazil's team was the epitome of watching teamwork.
Players held their positions and everything was orchestrated
on getting the ball into the net. I believe they had about 24 shots
on goal to a good Serbian team that had 3 or 4 shots on goal.
Serbia had a good defense that made the match close.
But Brazil never let off the gas even after the first goal.
A few minutes were left the coach had them put on the gas.
The star of the match was a rookie by the name of Richarlison.
He scored the winning goal then backed it up with a goal for the ages.
The rookie is already a star. Neymar the living legend was injured late .
He played very well but will be out next match. I can see why Brazil leads
the World in World Cup wins with 5. They are a team and a team with culture.
Here is a short link to the scores
Meanwhile, back in the desert things are heating up and drying up
Our great looking coach with the great house and pretty girlfriend,
is now on the hot seat. Our player friendly contracts are leaving us
thirsting for decent play. The drafts and transactions are as empty
as a dried up canteen in the heat of a canyon. Nothing is left
The season is all over. If we make a move, I hope it is soon if that has
been the plan. It needs to be a total house cleaning
as it is so full of dried up sand.
Game Day: The LA Chargers 5-5 come to town for what can be
called the Sean Payton Bowl. That is the way some see
this game turning into. A game with a chance for his services. Like the
Cardinals now 4-7, The LA Chargers have had more than their share of
injuries on the 2022 season. QB Justin Herbert has been dealing
with rib injuries since early on in the season. Their left tackle
Rashawn Slater tore his achilles'. The Chargers WRs corps is
decimated with injuries as well. The official injury list will be up
on the thread soon for members to view
I have provided detailed links to injuries to both teams as well.
The 2022 Arizona Cardinals can now only catch breaks
and back into the playoffs which at this point seems like a
pipe dream. It is time to see rookies get game time experience
if they have had limited playing time. Players like Mijai Sanders
Lecitus Smith, Cameron Thomas and Keaontay Ingram all need
to see more action if the season is a wash.
