I have to disagree respectfully. Jim Hart, Neal Lomax, Kurt Warner and Carson Palmer.
Hart had the best pass pro OL for two seasons '74 & 75 ( They were destroyed in consecutive playoff seasons by the Vikes & the Rams)
Neil Lomax brought hope to the Valley with a 4-0 start in the Cardinal's inaugural year in AZ. but faded to miss the playoffs.
*( Neil Lomax, without his degenerative hip injury, might have been the best Cardinal QB ever. Personally, the best passer I've seen in a Cardinal uniform.)*
Kurt Warner caught fire late in a season in which the Cardinals were the worst team to ever make a Super Bowl. Warner had Edjerin James, Fitz, and Anquan Boldin.
Carson Palmer played two playoff games in his tenure. It took a broken play with Fitz being aware to send the divisional game to the NFC Championship.
Palmer & the Cardinals were destroyed by Cam Newton and the Panthers.
I agree with you regarding how far a Cardinal QB has taken this organization into post season.
Let's eliminate Neil Lomax.
Murray will set all passing records probably within this contract extension.
Murray now has D-hop but little else.
Warner caught fire and took a .500 team to the Super Bowl. Then backed it up with a wildcard loss the following year.
Warner had Edjerin James, Fitz and Anquan Boldin.
Palmer had Arians has a coach. Team was loaded with the hottest RB in David Johnson & a prime Larry Fitzgerald.
It took a heads up play by Palmer and Fitz to beat GB in overtime. Palmer and Arians were destroyed By Cam Newton in
the NFC Championship game.
Murray has run this Kliff Kingsbury offense since day one. He can run, he is accurate. He should be putting defenses on edge
with his skill set. He's not. That's coaching and play calling.
I guess I should've prefaced my original statement as 'best QB drafted and developed.' Murray has a better physical skill
set than the aforementioned but he's got to develop the 'team leadership' skill which I believe Hart, Lomax, Warner
and Palmer obviously have over K1. Anyway, I loved watching all the former QBs you mentioned.
