KK said most of the same guys that played in CIN will play again against BAL. A couple guys got dinged and will sit. The regulars will stand around on the sideline and not play.
Question: Except for checking out the Cardinals new helmet, why should I tune in for the Practice Squad showdown?
Answer: The Cardinals can end the Ravens preseason game win streak at 21 games.

I think it's a huge mistake not to have the starters play a series or two. I understand about the risk of injury but I don't think you can go into the first regular season game with the starters only having played a quarter or two.Anybody else's thoughts?

"An unspoken coach and player mandate to sit out PS games for any reason may spell the end of the 3 remaining games in a couple years. TV money is a dribble. Most walk-up fans will not pay premium prices for junk football played by no-names. The season ticket buyers are stuck with 3 worthless seats. Owners are terrified of giving up PS game revenue. They will vote to end PS games if the NFL provides compensation. What kind of compensation? $$$ only." Thanks for asking. That's my thoughts on the matter of players taking games off for any reason.

I think they should play also. If a player comes up with an injury that could keep them out 2-4 weeks, it hopefully won't all be regular season games.

They need to play the starters to get the timing down This team is always behind the 8 ball

They need to play the starters to get the timing down This team is always behind the 8 ball Typically in the past I would have said the starters need to play. There were no preseason games in 2020 at all and they came out and beat the Niners. Last preseason Kyler played in 3 drives all preseason. ALL THREE drives were 3 and outs. Murray was 1 for 4 for two yards. Cards came out and beat the Titans. It’s a different game with live defenders coming at you, but they seemed to sort it out okay the last couple years. Hopefully the guys that need the live reps get them, but I don’t think its as necessary for everyone as it used to be.

Should be a good test for the run D... I am not sure that preseason is a good test for any aspect of an NFL team. It always seems that they are just running rudimentary plays or formations to see which players have good instincts or can execute a basic game plan. Not really looking for team oriented results but more focused on individual effort, consistency and production. They could get rid of preseason and I wouldn't care at all. It's just extra revenue for the owners and the league anyway not to mention the chance that you injure a key player for no reason.

I just read a note on NFL.com that QB Lamar Jackson will not play on Sunday night. Will QB Murray also spent his night passing out Gatorade refills?

Well I do believe starters should play some of the preseason I do fully expected in a few years the preseason game will completely go away but there will be a 20-game regular season. Also think there's a strong possibility that the number of teams making the playoffs each year will expand again in a few years.

I really liked Josh's interview. I hope that he gets to a chance at RT one day.
