Johnny Venerable @johnnyvenerable Sean Payton has his eyes on head coaching openings with either the Arizona Cardinals or the LA Chargers, per @jfowlerespn and @dangrazianoespn . That makes sense to Payton. But not a lot of sense to me. The odds of one or both HCs getting fired in January creeps up every week. However, Payton is under contract with the Saints until after the 2024 season. No team owner can just sign Payton without reaching a deal with the Saints. The deal will most likely include high draft picks. Kingsbury is under contract I'm guessing until 2027. He can be fired of course and probably will be fired in 7 weeks. I just don't see the Cardinals owner blowing maybe $10M per year on a long-term contract and handing over several high picks (at least 1 #1) for a former HC that walked out on the Saints and left the owner holding the bag. New Orleans HC Dennis Allen is a good guy by the way. He just has too few good players to work with. Sounds familiar, huh. |

That was hilarious. I can't imagine that type discipline ever happening at a Cardinals game. A team riot could ensue. The NFL would suspend the RB. That kind of discipline is probably is common at homefield practices when nobody is looking. |

Like PutMeIn, I thought that was hilarious too.. I'm not recommending it, but who knows. Some people may need that exact thing to wake up and focus. Peer pressure can be powerful. |
