Even if jj plays..it won't mean much I think it means a little. At least some of the time and maybe only early in the game the J W will definitely get some attention from the Rams offensive line and that might free up another Cardinal to do something. Just look at it from this perspective, if Aaron Donald was coming back for from an injury Monday night the Cardinals would still pay plenty of attention to him right? We certainly don't want j.j. watt to re-injure himself and end his career so it might be best for him and the Cardinals both if he was more of a decoy in this game because there will be some plays when he is double teamed. That means that Chandler Jones and Markus golden and whomever else has got to get Stafford on his butt.

Watt will help by anchoring the DE spot, reading TE screens, getting his hands in the air, and reacting correctly to pulling OLinemen and pushing them off routes. I do not expect Watt to be a sack machine. That's not his gig anymore.

Not one player is listed as out. That is good news. Justin Pugh is a little worrisome as he didn't practice at all this week.

It is a strategic move because JJ is still on IR they don't have to report his status. They will remove him off IR on Monday before 1 PM Arizona time and than activate him.

CB Breone Borders was just cut hours ago, creating an open spot on the active roster. It looks like JJ will fill that spot. Cutting a CB also makes me think Marco Wilson may be ready to go!

I believe they made Breeland active so it could be just the fact that Breeland is the space made by cutting Borders but Darren Urban said exactly what you said and usually Darren is tight lipped on a situation as I have personally known him for years. J J will be playing though.

J J will be playing though. When it comes to JJ, I was skeptical at first. Just another guy at the end of his career. However, his actual play was decent even great at times. But by far, his biggest contribution was his influence on the rest of the team. He is a man's man. No one wants to let he down. Even if he doesn't play that much in this game, others will be inspired by his leadership. Our defense is good, but they need people like him and Budda to show the way. Its infectious. I truly believe we got this, the Rams are going down.

I truly believe we got this, the Rams are going down. I was thinking the same. I expect him to play no more than 20 defensive snaps but who knows. JJ presence alone is enough. He will be the disruptor.
