Hope he enjoys his one week of being unretired. Yep. He can go back to whatever he was enjoying while the Cards prep for Tampa.

I was listening to Moving the Chains on NFL Network today and the analysts ran down key stats for all 14 playoff teams. The stats were lists and facts, no hype and no bias for certain staffs, players, teams, cities, histories, etc. It was, "Just the facts, ma'am." Pure Sgt. Friday.
When it was time to discuss the Cardinals, one analyst said the Cardinals are 8-1 on the road. He added that the Cardinals are 5-2 against the teams in the playoffs. I knew that but I doubt few folks outside Arizona knew that. There was a noticeable pause as the Cardinals Win/Loss data sank in.
The guys seem to not know what to say next. Then one person said, "The Cardinals and Rams have the rubber match on Monday night. Both teams won 1 and lost 1 this season." The scores of those games were mentioned in order to highlight that there were no head to head blowouts. It was clear to me that a message was sent to people that just read headlines and jump on and off team bandwagons. The Cardinals 8-1 road record is a warning: the team is much better than the recent headlines. The last comment was about which Wild Card teams won their Conference games in 2020. The road teams easily dominated the home teams. Uh-oh, Division winners in 2021! Then the set got quiet again, and just like that, a commercial was queued up.
Go Cardinals. Beat the Lambs.

I think you also have to look at who our 1 road loss was too. It was a beat down by the Lions who at that time only won 1 game and tied 1. Detroit was no slouch and we just figured it would be a walk in the park. Look who our 2 losses to playoff teams were. LA and Green Bay both at home. Let the fun begin as it is a new season and if we have to play Green Bay again it will be on the road. All I know is we need to go back to the 1-0 mentality of every week!

J J Watt will play you can pretty much bank on that. I am worried about the two game day decisions as those have been no go's in the past.

The 2 game-day decisions in Edmonds, Conner leads me to believe that Edmonds will play and Conner won't. JJ will be ready and good to have Marco Wilson and Rondale Moore back it appears. Alford won't be back and will be missed.
