Same Here Loved Shaun Alexander wished he was ours back then. Thomas Jones did better with the Jets than he did here. A couple guys did better elsewhere, like Garrison Hearst. I know Jones had good years with the Bears, but I barely remember the Jets days. Couldn’t have done any worse than while here. I forgot his Chicago Bears days But he did great with the Jets Finished with the Chiefs. Best year as a Cardinal was just over 500 yards He had a long career 12 years. 1119 yards in 2007 1312 ''''''''''''' 2008 1402 ''''''''''''' 2009

I'm doing some late Saturday afternoon thinking about NFL news and Cardinals nitch statistics:
RB Feaster is back on the 53-man roster. What's his role Sunday? Just backup? ST? He has no ARI touches and production so far. Zeros are not entirely Feaster's fault. I don't see Connor and Benjamin doing all the RB work tomorrow. Feaster was effective at Clemson for 3 years. Mabye we get to see if Feaster is more than a warm body tomorrow.
QB Wilson and DE Jones do not get along at all when the two teams play opposite each other. When Jones plays, Wilson averages 3 sacks per game. Just saying that there is a good chance that Jones has another HOFer day tomorrow.
The Seahawks pass defense is bottom 1/3. That group cannot contain a mobile QB and a big arm. Faced with a mobile QB, the Seahawks have no chance to stop the Cardinals. Packers pocket-passer QB Rodgers had an off-night last week and still overcame the Seahawks DLine and backfield. Murray is fully capable of repeating the Packers outcome versus the Seahawks.
Murray and his activation status are still unknown as of 430 ET on Nov 20th. The longer the team does not say anything on Saturday, the more I am convinced that Murray will play on Sunday. Murray is the difference between a Cardinals win and a Cardinals loss tomorrow. A Cardinals win is huge tomorrow. The Cardinals going 1-3 prior to the Bye both looks and smells bad. Murray knows what is on the line in Nov/Dec/Jan. Good teams win in these months. The others lose and think about 2022.
If Murray plays, Cardinals win going away. If McCoy plays, Cardinals will struggle. If Streveler plays, Seahawks win going away. If Smith replaces Wilson, all bets are off, but I like any ARI QB beating Smith most game days.
I'll pass along any game night-dreams later.

Sure this is just collage highlights, but he looks tough and fast and can catch the ball.

www.espn.com/nfl/game/_/gameId/401220364Here is an interesting find. McCoy and the Giants beat Wilson and the Seahawks at Lumens Field last December 6, 2020. Final score was 17-12. McCoy was a fill-in QB. He did okay that day, not spectacular, and had 1 INT. Wilson was his usual self, but misfired on a couple critical plays, dooming the Seahawks. When did the game turn toward the Giants? With the score 8-5 in the Giants favor at about the 5-minute mark in the 3rd quarter, I am not kidding about that weird score, Carroll called a pass play on 4th down. Wilson attempted a 4th and 1 pass to Carson at about the Seattle 49-yard line. The pass fell incomplete. The ball was turned over to the Giants on downs. The Giants then drove and scored. At that point, the odds of the Seahawks winning the game collapsed. McCoy can win versus the Seahawks, if the QB starter today, but he needs a lot of things to break right for him throughout the game. McCoy also needs every man-tool in the Cardinals playmaker toolbox to do its job, including Mr. A J Green! Seattle Seahawks wounded today include MetCalf (foot). Wilson still has plenty WR tools.

I think the plan all along was to keep Murray and Hopkins out until after the Bye.

I had really hoped Kyler would be able to go today. Now it sounds like we gotta hope things go our way with Colt, meaning the rest of the team gives him a lead he can then manage and we don’t fall behind. At least we should be healthy for the stretch run after the bye. I’m afraid this game could have major playoff seating implications, so I hate to enter it without our most important player by a mile.

I don't really want our guys on the field until healthy enough too much to lose to rush them back too soon

If KM is not activated today, then he really was hurt bad, and I would not be shocked to learn that KM is grounded throughout December. That means he misses 7 consecutive games at least, or about the right amount of down time for a serious ankle injury to mostly heal, assuming correct rehab and that there are no other ankle or agility complications, and the area pain is tolerable. Up to a third of people still have some ankle tissue pain after a year.
I think the team is understating Murray's injury for public relations purposes and to avoid killing fragile marketing gains. The NFL Bye week is fortuitous because that is one less loss, and one less week of questions without answers. I have a request for the Cardinals: Please tell fans the truth so that we can all plan weekends without good football and move on from the china doll if necessary.
And Happy Thanksgiving holiday to everyone!

No Hopkins no Kyler Murray. The team that actually wanted to play and beat the crap out of San Francisco better show up or we're looking at an L. The dirtbags that went through the motions against Carolina might as well just stay home in bed.

49ers opened their game with a 20 play, 13:05 minute drive, which ended in a field goal. Second longest drive in NFL history. Wow.
