I beg to differ. If you can name a backup to Stafford without looking at their roster maybe we can talk. I know because when you made this statement I went and looked if Stafford goes down they are in a world of hurt. Their Backup QB’s are a rookie and a 2nd year nobody that I have ever heard of. McCoy is serviceable heck all QB’s have bad games. It was just one of those days. On the other hand the San Fran game was over his ceiling. All QB’s are gonna have those days as well. John Wolford is the backup guy who beat Streveler and the Cardinals last year remember? I didnt mean to say the Rams got a qb they got a WR in Beckham which was smart now that Woods is on IR. Technically, not as smart as it was lucky, since Woods got hurt and gave his spot to OJB at practice on Friday. If OJB can do anything with that remains to be seen.

Well guys I missed this one due to travel all day…just saw occasional score updates. Looks like I picked the best one to miss. I’ve only seen a few plays and breezed through the stats and game day thread, but why does it sound like we never even tried to establish a run game with ball control QB play like last week, and why was our D not keyed in on McCaffrey on every play? My game plan for today seemed the obvious one…run and stop the run.

The Cards wanted no part of this game, didn't show much. This was a chaotic week with resting players, losing the LS, and Seattle next week. Classic trap, make sure nobody gets hurt, and show vanilla type game. Bury the football, and move on. Get Murray, Hopkins, and Hugh back and then surprise Seattle. It's what should be believed. Both the team and fans have gone too far now to turn back now. Now GB, LAR, TB, DAL and Cards have taken a bad loss on the chin. Time to get some players back and prove that the Cards own that top seed.

Good counterpoint, FLCF. There is no room in the Cardinals locker room for DV perps. MB makes very clear that DV is a no-no. The NFL doubles down on DV every time. Folks sometimes look at players through tiny holes, and can miss the big picture, including what players do on their personal time, such as driving while drunk, beating people, etc. Back to the topic: Murray has to play next week. It's put up or shut up time for the Cardinals and NFC West Division lead. McCoy may have torn a pectoral muscle. Medical report pending. Streveler just doesn't have what it takes to be a real NFL QB, but he can stand in for one at an emergency situation, like the CAR @ ARI game. Lastly, why is Kingsbury still making boneheaded player and play-calling decisions? He made a few on Sunday. Of course, McCoy's stunts did not help anyone.
