Mr. Shank's 33-yard punt average means his name is appropriate for the kicking job. I pass on drafting this guy forever!

www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/arizona-cardinals-vs-green-bay-packers-nfl-week-8-odds-plays-and-insights/ar-AAQ240b?ocid=uxbndlbingSports Illustrated pumped out some new ARI and GB team stats to whet our appetites early Thursday morning. Cardinals notables: The Cardinals are 6.5 point favorites, up from 3.5 points a few days ago, due to COVID-19 casualties on the GB side. In Arizona's seven games this year, it has 6 wins against the spread. The Cardinals have been favored by 6.5 points or more two times this season and have covered the spread in all of them. Arizona's games this year have gone over the point total in 42.9% of its opportunities (three times in 7 games with a set point total). This year, the Cardinals average 11.2 more points per game (32.1) than the Packers allow (20.9). Arizona is 5-1 against the spread and 6-0 overall this season when the team records more than 20.9 points. The Cardinals average 402.1 yards per game, 70.7 more yards than the 331.4 the Packers give up per matchup. When Arizona totals over 331.4 yards, the team is 5-1 against the spread and 6-0 overall. This year, the Cardinals have 6 turnovers, 5 fewer than the Packers have takeaways (11).

www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/cardinals/2021/10/27/green-bay-packers-arizona-cardinals-nfl-week-8-ticket-prices/8559136002/The Invasion of Zombie Cheeseheads is about to occur at State Farm Stadium! This horror has nothing to do with Halloween. Read on (I quoted the above USA Today article.) "So, you want to go to the Green Bay Packers vs. Arizona Cardinals NFL Week 8 game on Thursday night and don't yet have tickets? It's going to cost you. The average purchase price for the game on TickPick, according to the site, is $274, which is the third most expensive of the week behind the Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game ($277) and Chicago Bears vs. San Francisco 49ers game ($324). Interestingly, TickPick reports that 19% of tickets that have been purchased for the game on its site have come from a Wisconsin zip code. The cheapest tickets for the game on that resale site is $212, with the best seat sitting at $1,376 (TickPick doesn't have added buyer fees)."

The loss of JJ Watt sucks bad. I am much more concerned that Garcia may not be able to play period and if we have to start a third string center it's going to be tough period one other thought Chandler Jones has absolutely got too dominate tonight I don't care if he's coming off of covet I don't care if he's tired period he thinks he should be paid big big money and the team needs him to play at his best tonight period with what out I think this game is going to be way closer than any of us think.

The last time we played the Packers in our house we had 8 sacks against Aaron Rodgers. Let's repeat that tonight.

Any Ra-Ra energy the Packers have going into this game is going to be outclassed by the Cardinal's. Losing JJ Watt guarantees that. And once the Cardinals convincingly beat the Pack, that'll tell the world who the 2021 Cardinals really are.

Strangely the game timing might be what the doctor ordered. Both teams are beat up and CJ needs a big game both teams are thin on defense.
If AZ can survive this game the long week of rest for week nine should help many players heal up and hopefully Hudson is on track for return in week nine.
This is a Ertz, Moore, and Green game in the air and a good game for Conner to beat down a struggling defense.
The Card defense just needs to force a couple FGs and two turnovers. Collins needs his big boy side to show up.
