Looking forward to seeing the injury report today, some of our questions should be answered about both teams. I just read the Cardinals injury report. I almost cried. Man, that SF game took a toll on the 53-man roster, knocking out some top talent for us. Keim and Kingsbury will find temp solutions, most are not the starter talent we are used to seeing on Sunday. Other players will have to step up their game. Some will, some won't. Most teams are witnessing huge #'s of players on IR now. The Browns and Cardinals are in the same boat regarding injuries. I am not changing my outlook though. Cardinals win by 14.

I.E. - DeAndre Hopkins and most will be playing this week only ones I see sitting are Hudson and Jones.. of course Maxx Williams is on season ending IR and Zeke Turner is on IR.

Watched the Brown vs Chargers game...
My observations:
1. When Herbert extended the play, there were some ridiculously wide open receivers. That Browns secondaru is pretty exploitable. K1 can make some magic happen.
2. Browns IDL has some gap discipline issues. If they're spread, then Conner should eat down the middle.
3. If Baker is under center, then it's either run or PA. I think they had 4 plays that weren't based on the run game at center. Conversely, they don't run in shotgun much like we do.
4. They started both Halvea using 12 personnel. Their OL is so good at the run game and they spend a lot of time blocking into the 2nd level. They're gonna bully us up front obviously.
5 their corners are meh at tackling. Ekeler enjoyed some success in the passing game. I hope that Chase and Rondale make them pay 6. Pretty cool awareness on D at the end. They knew that they couldn't stop the Chargers. Instead of letting Ekeler burn the clock, they pushed him in for the TD so the offense could have one more chance

Notwithstanding the latest injury reports, I'm sticking with my score projection: Cards 35; Browns 21. I also watched most of the Browns @ Chargers game. The Browns had no Defense in the 4th quarter--absolutely no answers for Herbert.
Both CLE and ARI teams have sidelined key players due to injuries and neither team will get 100% healthy before kickoff. The Cardinals are in better shape on offense and defense than the Browns today. If anyone is looking for another defensive contest, like the 17-10 score last week, just throw that idea out the window. These two teams are built to score. The Browns will run the ball, and the Cardinals will run and throw the ball. The team that scores early TDs vice FGs is most likely to dictate play-calling tactics to the other team.
The Cardinals will be 6-0 at the end of the day.

I expect all but Hudson and Jones will be ready to go, but there was word today that two other Cardinals might have positive COVID tests. I’m not clear if they were players or staff. I’m most concerned with Murray’s shoulder, however. That’s what bit us last year after a 6-3 start.
