The Rams look good.
They may be to best in the league thus far.
I feel we are a step below their level, but could beat them if things go right.

I don't know if someone on this forum has the ability to see or have contact with persons seeing the coaches tape ... but I want to know something about KM1's interceptions 40 yds down the middle of the field that last 2 games.
I specifically want to know if the route tree by another receiver has a 18-20 yd route on the left side of the formation to occupy the safety playing on that side of the field. It seems like the last 2 weeks that safety is waiting on this deep throw down the middle for an easy interception -- if that deep throw is the "shot" meant to be open for a big gainer or a TD, then something is not occupying that safety not to get back there with so much time to spare.
These are the little things that need to be evaluated as I do think the Rams secondary outside of Ramsey is vulnerable (they lost a couple of secondary players to FA from last year).
P.S. I do think if the Cards are going to upset the Rams in LA this is a good weekend to get them coming off the big game vs. Bucs and will be on everyone's #1 in the media power polls. Cards have also been the nail for so long and with the Rams playing the Seahawks the following week, the Rams could be vulnerable to a letdown.
P.S.(1) - I just heard someone on 98.7 remind Card fans that our team only needs to go 50/50 the rest of the season to finish 10-7.

We will have NONE of that 50-50 talk and show no mercy on our opponents from here on out as we are on our quest for 20-0!

The other thing is as stated above...can we catch them gloating over beating the goat? It's something...we have a shot at this...but we will need a total A game

To beat the Rams -- - Send Simmons on a blitz -- maybe we can make a Stafford "sandwich" like Simmons/Watt/can't remember the 3rd player did to Trevor.
- Bracket Kupp - inside/outside
- On pass downs - Simmons to take Higbee (he has caught 11 of 12 targets so far in 2021 and 5 for 5 yesterday) man-on-man
- Jalen Thompson is really "flashing" the last 2 games and there was a play yesterday where he shocked me at his speed closing in on the offensive player in the flat.... so Budda3 and Jalen are really becoming a very good safety duo.
- K2 needs to talk with Refs (maybe even the league office during the week) before game about the obvious pick plays employed by the Rams wherein their player setting the pick doesn't even turn around to catch a pass. Instead the player who is setting the pick merely blocks into one of the CB's and pushes that defender into the other CB having to go outside and catch up to the intended target... thus taking out 2 guys.
- Not sure Deshaun Jackson wants to ever catch balls crossing over the middle but Cards' defensive backs must make sure not to let him get a head of steam going vertical absent any short hand-check on his should pads.

P.S.(1) - I just heard someone on 98.7 remind Card fans that our team only needs to go 50/50 the rest of the season to finish 10-7. The video question is a first. A few years ago, we had a Forum member that was close to a QB. That's about it. A couple more sage comments... I do not know of any Forum member that is close enough to any franchise employee to have any access to the wide-angle and multi-angle game videos used by coaches. Maybe its for the best that we all just thank the NFL.com site for the 7-8 minute capsules posted each week. I do watch that video closely for coach decisions and player action clues. Fans in the past had nothing to look at on game replays. That may be before your time. At least we get some HD highlights now. About that 'someone on 98.7' suggesting 10 wins is good enough, that is the most boneheaded reminder or idea I have ever heard. What does 10 wins do for a Cardinals team playing in a Division that could put 3, maybe 4 teams in to the playoffs? 10 wins could mean no Cardinals playoff berth. Double digit wins guarantees nothing in the post-season any more. Being left at the altar has happened before and it will happen again. Check the Cardinals history! Been there, done that. P
