Brandon William's has done nothing good since he's been here. Can't play corner and then they give him a new job as a KO return man and he sucks at it and got the team backed up 2 or was it 3 times? We need to lose him along with J.J. and a few other guys.... lots of other guys after the season. I don't understand letting go the Brown guys at wide receiver in favor of these guys (?).

Keim is still trying to save face on Brandon Williams. Williams was a controversial pick from the start. He should have been released last year but Keim wants to prove to everyone how his 3rd round pick can still produce. Brandon Williams personally gave up 2 TD's in the infamous Patriots loss in 2016.
This is another reason Keim should be fired. He is putting his own ego before the benefit of the team. At some point, Keim has to acknowledge his busts and cut his losses. Instead, he retains them and allows them to hurt the team.
Has to be the only reasonable explanation at this point, which shows what a loser GM Keim is and, I suppose, the Cardinals as a whole. Look what Seattle did the year Wilson was drafted. They had signed free agent QB-of-the-year Matt Flynn to a fat contract to be the guy, but Wilson outplays him and gets the job. The rest is history as the saying goes. One bonehead play call away from consecutive SB wins. Meanwhile Keim allows deadwood like Butler, Williams and others to hang around. But don't worry! He's MAD! Big Keim, mad GM! Grrrrrr!

Wait, Seattle signs Flynn to a contract then gets Wilson in the draft and they are winners but Keims a loser after he signs Bradford then gets Rosen in the draft? I’m not sold on Keim staying but your logic is somewhat hypocritical. Let’s just say that the some of the parts Seattle had were better than the some of the parts we have. This includes management, players and coaches! If that’s Keims fault, he needs to go to but Flynn to Wilson is the same as Bradford to Rosen (at least we hope in time).

Flynn was signed to be the long term "franchise" solution, I know of precisely zero people who thought Bradford was more than a Rent-a-QB for a year, two tops. Plus Wilson was a third round pick, almost certainly signed as a project originally.
It's just one example. Keim is keeping deadwood like Williams, JJ Nelson, the previous Butler example (a multi-year fiasco, no less). But I'm not worried. Big Keim MAD! He swinging for better team! Grrrr!

Well, if things don’t turnaround quickly, everyone is going!

And this old schtick from the same old schtick sources, that Keim is the one holding on to Brandon Williams still being here, is total BS. And will always be that too.
Brandon had his shots. Now he's just run out of ammo. He's athletic, but not so adaptable after all. Bye Brandon. <wave bye bye>

Williams was/is essentially a fourth round pick, trading back in that round allowed us to get Budda Baker didn't it? If he can carve out a role as the 3rd/4th receiver on the roster, I'd be happy with that. Everybody can't be a star. And keep tweeting Mike Jureki after every time Brandon Williams makes a complete mess of his role on ST, remember he is a top 3 ST player... There were better prospects at WR available. Even NFL analysts graded him out at a 5.0 well below many of his peers.
Williams was a bad pick. He was drafted to serve as our #2 WR. Dede Westbrook was available and a much better player in college. He played at Oklahoma and was more skilled. Keim did his usual. He tried to defy the experts and reached on a receiver who could have been drafted in the 6th round.
On a team with only one receiver, you don't draft a receiver in the third round to be your 4th or 5th receiver. Cooper Kupp was drafted in the third round of that that same year.
Oh don't get me wrong, I thought there were better prospects on the board but just a few points. What makes you think he was drafted to be our number 2 guy? At the time we still have the two Browns on the roster, DJ was essentially our no.2 WR on the roster aswell. For me Williams was always the Jaron Brown replacement which was the WR 3/4 role. Westbrook had character concerns with domestic violence charges against him I believe? Kupp exclusively plays in the slot and that is where Larry obviously gets his snaps.

Keim has forced both coach's to keep his prized CB on the team. There is no other reason why. It's clear that Keim has a say in the rosters . That's pretty normal operating status in the NFL.
Keim blew the entire 2016 draft along with other duds in first rounds.
He's a bottom 5 GM.

KC (Hammer) and Cards (Nail):
Cards had 2 picks in the next five after the Chiefs pick in the 5th round of the 2016 draft -- Tyreek Hill, WR. KC trades up to Buffalo to get ahead of the Cards for Mahomes. KC was rumored to want Rodney Gunter so the Cards traded up and gave up another pick to leap ahead of KC to get Gunter ... how did that work out ? Cards trade FB Anthony Sherman to KC for CB J. Arenas ... Sherman now in his 6th yr with KC blocking for Kareem Hunt and Arenas lasted 1 yr with Cards.

Being on the team for 2 years with no production "isn't enough time" and Keim needed one more year to evaluate him. Yeah that's it. Keim's ego has nothing to do with why he is still on the team.

Many changes to wonder about besides the Browns (though I agree about Jaron, less so for JJ due to sickle cell) and more each day it seems. Not quite what I expected this year, but it sure hasn't been boring, starting with the draft and then the July 3/4 fiasco. What next? This is shaping up to be a very interesting season, and makes guesses about next year pretty wild.

I hope we get a strong smart coach next year who will sit Keim down and say "It's over for your boy Brandon Williams". He is getting cut because he sucks.
