Of the 2, I hope to see Hill more often. I want to see this defense against a mobile QB with designed run potential. Call it a preview of our defense vs Trey Lance.

I will always remember that 2009 playoff game, not for the final score, but for the Saints meanness and documented intent to injure. NFL rules today would have reigned in a few Saints players, or caused immediate ejections. Another thing, the NFL today prohibits players bringing props onto the field. Bush's infamous 'bat game' would have resulted in a huge team fine. The Saints team got fined anyway, for the other bounty-gate behaviors. That Saints team won the game but lost a lot of respect too. www.neworleanssaints.com/video/the-reggie-bush-bat-game-2009-divisional-round-vs-arizona-cardinals

That was to knock Warner out of the game.

www.espn.com/nfl/game/_/gameId/401326614I know the first game of the year, ARZ vs. TEN, is over two weeks away. However, I wanted to share with y'all what I'm seeing with the TEN defense. The defense gave up just 6 points in 2 PS games. The TEN offense is killing it too, piling up 30+ points per game. I sure do hope the Cardinals tighten up on defense and offense at NOS next week. There is very little time left for the Cardinals coaches and players to get their act together.

Thanks FLCardinalFan for that 1977 highlight film. I thought I was going to get to see two hometown (Poplar Bluff Mo.) players in this game. Former Cardinal #27 Eddie Moss had just left to go I think to Washington, #27 in this highlight isn’t him. Not sure who #27 is in this highlight. But DL #74 Derland Moore of the Saints is in the highlight film. He is the one who recovers Terry Metcalf’s fumble. Both Eddie and Derland played on Poplar Bluff’s 1966 undefeated football team. Cool video.

I remember the announcer saying there were three players on the Saints that we from Missouri. Also earlier in this thread I pointed out three players on the Saints team in this game ended up going to the Cardinals. John Gilliam WR, Terry Stieve Guard, and Elois Grooms DL This is for you 70'sCardFan

I will say that Winston looked great against the Jag D tonight. Not his normal int throwing self from Tampa. Payton has him steadied and he threw 2 awesome TD's against the Jag D in the 1st quarter and never had an int. Pretty sure he will be their starter.
