saw some great things tonight Collins looked very good and Marco Wilson is a solid corner. Kicker was gold. The OL really disappointed me.

Just finished the PS game 1 highlights this Saturday morning. Some thoughts:
Some second and third teamers looked good last night. I wonder if Kingsbury will carry 3 QBs? Colt McCoy is the definite #2. Chris Streveler made a strong case for a roster spot during his beast mode runs.
I did not see any way that #11 WR Larry Fitzgerald can work his way onto the team's final roster. The young WR group is just too strong for the old-timer.
The Defense needs work. Several guys seemed out of position, slow-footed, or spectators. The Cowboys back-ups are not that good.
Hang onto the damned ball!

Running hard does not make for an NFL QB. He was on the active roster all last year and used on maybe 3-4 gimmick plays? That’s if you count him running on 4th down. If McCoy or even the guy we had on our roster in Hundley would have played against the Rams we win that game. I think Streveler is fun, but we are in this for wins and this guy doesn’t help you do that. Do they waste a roster spot on him again? Pretty sure nobody would take him off the practice squad if we just kept him there.

They Have been hit hard with COVID. Can’t get all the games on the field at one time. I was hoping they could at some point but it’s look like week 1 it is.

One thing I will say is that they need to get off the field on 3rd and long. It’s frustrating

He is not a NFL QB however I think someone would pluck him off the practice squad but I wouldn’t be worried if they did unless it was an NFC West team straight for intel which happens all the time. I like Streveler but his arm isn’t there to be an NFL type QB although his toughness and running is.

I also do not think that he has done one ounce of anything to change that. He is extremely easy to replace as a 3rd string QB in my opinion so if someone happened to take him so be it. This board WAY over values QB’s that have come through here and then never heard from again. Doesn’t seem to be happening too much with Streveler though.
