I've had enough. I turned it off with 14.40 t go in the 2nd quarter. It was 28 to zip already. This team is just flat terrible. I've been following the Cards since the early 60's. This has to be one of the worst teams of all time. It's not fun to watch them get hammered each and every week. I think it's time for wholesale changes to be made from the GM down to the water boy. |

Strangely, I'm actually starting to enjoy the season. If I can't have fun with this hot mess, how will I ever stomach the long multi-season crawl back to semi-relevance. Feels like it's going to be a slog, but right now it's a glorious implosion!

I agree. I think any reasonable fan understands that teams aren't going to win every year. Teams rebuild and struggle. But there is also a reason why certain organizations have continued success and others don't. Typically reputable organizations rebuild and show signs of improvement during rebuilds. You can see a sense of direction and there is a clear plan to improve the team.
This is not fun because there is no direction. The GM has done a poor job drafting overall. Key players were not re-signed. Bad coaches were hired. The team is devoid of both player and coaching talent with no clear cut direction. And sadly, there seems to be denial from both fans and the team. We are not one OC away from playing well. We don't have great talent that just needs to mature. We don't have a great GM who just had some bad drafts.
